This whole bullshit practice of forcing girls to shower with men has got to

Or maybe (in my case) watch it for the first time.

Maybe I just saw the part of the Bourne movie (whichever one it was) where
they were doing the camera shaking. Wherever I see it, I don't like it.

Paul Greengrass directed three of the five(?) Bourne movies, so I'm
guessing I (partially) saw one of his.

I'll have to look up the Mountain Meadows Massacre. If I've heard of it I've
managed to forget what I heard.

I've watched six of the nine now. The weakest, so far, was the sixth one (it
was the first one not based on one of Parker's books) but it wasn't
terrible. Selleck and the director (Harmon?) wrote this one. They kept the
mood pretty close but I'm hoping number 7 doesn't drop another notch.

Two things Parker required in the films. Jesse Stone could never "get over"
his ex-wife and he could never quit drinking.

I haven't read any of Parker's Jesse Stone books, but I probably will now
that I've watched movies based on them. And I agree that Selleck makes it
better. Now that Blue Bloods has ended (I've never watched that show... yet,
but it went fourteen years) there's talk of more Jesse Stone movies.

Hey! I'm a "spry" 68. Not in my 70s.

Sure: it goes back to at least 9 April 2013...

<https://groups.google.com/g/comp.os.linux.advocacy/c/1W-mAcPC-B4/m/lsaUt_ozLEwJ>

I had called out COLA's behavior of hypocrisy, where the left side of
their piehole was bragging about freedom of speech while the right side
of their piehole was trying to exploit peer pressure to supress the
voices of posters (yup, censorship) whose messages they disliked.

Naturally, the usual suspects were the ones who were butthurt.

> He could
> admit that leftists in the government disallowed freedom of speech.

Got cite? Let's see the Google Groups URL to this alleged post.

Because there were conversations like this one which revealed how Musk
has been a hypocrite with twitter, just like COLA boys above:

<https://groups.google.com/g/comp.os.linux.advocacy/c/KGUPKGKvT-Y/m/El_VEgicAAAJ>

> Government directives resulted in the censorship of those on the

Again, got cite? Let's see the Google Groups URL to this alleged post.

> This is relevant to what was being discussed, too. It shows that the

The only 'relevance' is that you're boundless in your hypocrisies
and always cry victim when you get called out.

> He will need to change the subject header to indicate his intentions

Well, if that's all it takes to avoid your censorship, and since I'm not
changing my position, I've suitably updated the subjectline to tell you
and every other COLA hypocrite to go fuck off.

My father-in-law assured me that the man was using a Tesla. Of course,

I think that Californians feel the need to live in areas with lots of
population, so Idaho is not likely to be a destination. Texas maybe, but
not farm central.

He won't concede that government pressure led to censorship on social

Meainwhile, I'm allegedly a "hypocrite" because I've supposedly
"censored" people on USENET.

Err... No I haven't. I don't have that power. Choosing to not read
or quote something is not censoring it. Obviously.

What a ridiculous liar, -highhorse is. What a snit.

As for the subject about a "change of position" and "YA

snittery. He wants to blow-up the argument into an unwieldy mess to
distract from the simple points. This is his usual MO.

It's not "unsubstantiated" that -highhorse defended censorship because
it was private companies doing it, even though, we now know, they were
doing it at the behest of the government.

Every decent, honest American would admit that what happened was

It's also not "unsubstantiated" that -highhorse is a ridiculous liar,

I haven't seen the final season but I enjoyed Blue Bloods. I was surprised
it didn't get shouted down. White Irish Catholic families aren't a popular
topic and it treated controversial topics with a balanced approach.

YA unsubstantiated claim from luzer-v., which is why he snipped it:
to try to avoid yet another emotional 'meltdown' from losing...again.

Substantiating citation missing. Still.

Who pointed that out to you that you lacked the power you wanted to use?
Butthurt about that still!

But that wasn't what was said, as per the part you *just* snipped.

Unfortunately, chrisv still can't actually bring himself to quote the
original text, complete with a GG URL cite, to show readers that he
didn't just make it up.

Is that failure because he knows that he's lying? Or just that
incompetent to use GG to provide a citation?

FWIW, sounds like what chrisv is probably ranting about is that he was
on a 1st Amendment rant, but it was pointed out to him that the 1st
Amendment restricts only the Government, not private corporations.
Wonder how he's going to react to TikToc @ SCOTUS later this month...

chrisv used quote marks without citation: "Err..."?

So who actually made that statement?
When & where, and in what context?

Or is this merely yet another chrisv attempt to lie & deceive, by trying
to imply that that it was said? Cites, please.

The technology was sound but not the business model. Electric forklifts
have used swapped out batteries for decades. Automobiles could take design
hints from the old VW vans. It was notoriously easy to steal the entire
engine to replace your clapped out mill.

We've gotten a LOT of Californians here. The city I live in (just west of
Boise) was, for a couple years, the fastest growing city in the country.
Mostly because of the influx Californians (plus some from Seattle and
Portland). Mostly they want to get out of the Woke shitholes they were
living in. The biggest downside is that they've driven the price of housing
way up. But I can't blame them for wanting to get out of California.

I don't know who James Wesley Rawles is or what "American Redoubt" refers to.
And, right now, I'm too lazy to look either up.

I'll have to give it a shot. I don't have cable, so everything I watch is
streaming — I only recently found out there was a show called Blue Bloods.
