Although now with Windows, I am quite happily "done with it".

Damn, it's always so refreshing to me when I remember I don't have to use
that work laptop anymore. Nice laptop, mediocre OS. The original work laptop
was nice too, and was great with Linux until IT zapped it.

I usually buy two bags! And that's just the start of the cost
savings, of course. Most difference are not as dramatic as the
produce, but they are still that and that add up to a significant
difference.

Actually I find that I have to shop at like five different grocery
stores to get the items that I want. Some more than others, of
course.

My wife is somewhat similar to that. She is always ready to walk out of
a store if she doesn't get immediate service. I'm more willing to adapt
to the situation and ask for directions or use the proper channels to
get things done. I don't like to ruffle any feathers no matter where I
go unless I am being forced into something that is philosophically
contrary to what I believe or just plain illogical.

I didn't have that in mind specifically although Christianity in general
is a little withered in Europe. The US is sort of an anomaly.

What happened to Palm OS and webOS? Why do some innovators become also-
rans? Many times it is a result of bad business decisions but other times
it isn't clear.

The Tomorrow's World show generally plays on the CW chains. Here in
Montreal, we can either watch it on 31.1 (which is an extension of WPTZ
5.1 in Burlington) or 47.1 ICI, which is the ethnic channel where they
have programs in a variety of languages. Trust me when I tell you that
it isn't very hard to find. However, it's also rather easy to just find

My first was a manual which I preferred but due to circumstances I would
up with an AT in the 2011 and 2018. A MiniCooper driver and I played
around on Route 1 down through Big Sur. I concluded the Yaris could hold

The 2018 does have power windows. It doesn't have remote entry but Toyota

didn't know they made cars with manual windows anymore.' He was a young

This one has a radio with Bluetooth and and many different functions but I
have on idea what powers it. At least it doesn't show the Windows XP logo
when it boots.

I've noticed many car reviews now spend more time on the 'entertainment
system' that how fast it will go and how long will it take to get there.

If ever you you pass by Montreal and are looking for poutine,
Valentine's got it. It's all in the sauce and theirs is the most

I doubt if I'll ever make it back to the east coast but I'll keep it in
mind. I even have a passport card I got in anticipation of visiting BC and
Alberta -- right before covid slammed the gate shut.

One of the local food trucks sometimes has it. Their real thing is burgers
so it's iffy. Not bad and 11 leading cardiologists recommend it -- they
need the business.

That has to be the best bargain on the planet. $4.99 and it's good for at
least 4 meals for me. The week before I'd gotten a package of filet mignon
--4 meals but it was over $40.

I usually don't splurge that much but a co-worker had just returned from a
Las Vegas vacation and was talking about $40 hamburgers. Ye Gods and
little fishes!

There's no inflation, nothing to see here folks...

I had visions of a fist descending on a hapless chicken. I'll have to try
that. CostCo does have packages of grilled chicken strips that I get for
salads but they're all breast meat. At one time I was on a skinless,
boneless chicken breast kick and now I have sort of a gag reflex for dry,
tasteless chicken breast.

What if one is installing Winblows on a self-assembled machine, is
that easier than installing a typical Linux distro? I would say it's
marginally so, if at all. If the advantage of Windows is merely being
preinstalled by the OEM, I'd call the person brain dead by our
standards, as tech people.

Yeah, mixing the oilier dark meat and skin, also shredded, with the
white meat gives the mix a good flavor. Even a simple chicken and
rice meal is plenty tasty.

Trump's too undisciplined. Nay, he's off his rocker.

Not too mention his stated policies would like supercharge inflation, and might
lead to a recession. Mass deportation, tariffs, and still more tax breaks for
