was a ghastly fiction and the Air Ministry
knew it. The British didn't crack under
the Blitz, but they expected the Germans
would if THEIR cities were bombed.

Even Nixon tried in Vietnam, it didn't

It was not. But it’s strange to argue that second choice (Hiroshima) was
militarily target if the first choice (Kyoto) was chosen specifically
