A controversial AI program used to deny elderly people health
coverage is now at the center of questions about the shooting
of the UnitedHealthcare CEO.

Brian Thompson, 50 was gunned down Wednesday outside a Hilton

That's why I say follow the money.
In this case it probably has something to do with a disgruntled person denied care
either for himself or family.
It could also be corruption in the company such as embezzlement, money laundering etc.
And it appears the shooter had inside information knowing where the CEO was staying, arriving, speaking
and time frames so that is interesting as well.
His speaking events are probably public record, but arrival times?
That's a bit odd.

They will capture this guy, eventually.

In NYC anything is possible but as a rule people loath insurance companies,
big pharma and the like so depending upon the jury make up and despite the evidence
we see so far you might be correct.

I have. This guy is a hero.
I grew up in NYC and have taken the subway literally 1000's of times (high school, college, to the beach, the city etc) from the
early 70's through the mid 80's so I know full well how dangerous it can be.

I used to see crazies all the time. Urinating between cars onto the tracks. Pooping, using drugs, harassing people
and attacking people as well. I learned from a cop relative if stared at never look away but stare back straight into
the perps eyes. It plants the thought that you are either a decoy/cop or as crazy as they are so they won't mess with you.
And it works. Looking away shows weakness and getting up and moving to another car is even worse as they will follow you.

This was not racial like the throngs of blacks protesting at the court each day
are claiming.
This was a Good Samaritan stopping what might have been attacks on helpless
people.
Note how he wasn't arrested until AFTER the black agitators like Sharpton started
protesting.
Bragg and his minions are completely corrupt and I believe that the prosecutor
knew all along that the most serious charge would never stick which is why the plan
was to go for the lesser charge.
The judges instructions to the jury were biased as well.

He's basically saying, "well you didn't get him on the serious charge but you should
convict on the lesser charge" and letting human nature take over meaning "we have
to convict on SOMETHING"".

This jury is overthinking all of this IMHO.
Just the fact that 2 expert witnesses have wildly separate conclusions on what actually
killed the perp is more than enough to inject reasonable doubt.

Even if convicted, this case is rife with points to bring up on appeal.
However, Penny's life is ruined and all because he tried to help.
He deserves the key to the city.
