Good afternoon,
This may be out of the blue but I found your email looking through some
pages about making my own butterfly food. We have been raising some painted
Ladies from my son's class and they have laid eggs. Because everything is
shut down right now I'm not sure where to get them food in time for them to
hatch. Right now they are laid on a gerbera daisy. do you have any
suggestions until Amazon comes through?
Thank you for any help you can provide.
All the best,
Kelly Moody

Yes, I ordered artificial food on Amazon today when I discovered the eggs.
It says it will arrive on April 8th. From what i can find online the eggs
will hatch in 3-5 days so I didn't know what to do if they hatched before
it arrived. Would the refrigerator be too cold or dehydrate them if we try
to slow them down? Should I move the plant out of our butterfly enclosure?
We have a 24"x24"x34" butterfly tent.
Thanks for your help!
