I found a screenshot at the gitlab repository:

There have been at least 368 code commits to the Falkon repository
since January 2022. It seems under active development and automated
maintenance.

$ git log | grep "Date:" | head -n 384 | grep -v 2021 | wc -l
368

The latest commit was yesterday:

$ git log | grep "Date:" | head -n 1
Date: Sun Sep 24 01:32:57 2023 +0000

There are about 227 commits so far this year.

$ git log | grep "Date:" | head -n 384 | grep 2023 | wc -l
227

Maybe they were not pushing out their internal commits timely when this
thread was started. I don't see anything seriously security sensitive.

I've been using Falkon on my laptop for a while now. It works quite well!

I do prefer palemoon on my desktops as it just works with more sites.
