Hello!

Where are the credentials for the localuser for the local NNTP server
saved and how can they be changed?
I run the install script by accident and the current PW doesn't work
anymore for the local NNTP server.

kind regards
Marco

Now the new password works. I dunno what caused the new password to
work after some time.

I don't know why, but I missed your original message.

The localuser creds are in the standard user location:
/etc/rslight/users/localuser

When auth is attempted, it should check the timestamp for rslight.inc.php,
and if it's newer than the 'localuser' file, it should re-create the
password hash. This should hopefully not be noticed and work immediately.

Please let me know if you find further issues with it.

Does that happen every time the install script is being run?
What happens is the local NNTP server is still running?

Maybe that was the issue.

It's just checking the timestamp on /etc/rslight/rslight.inc.php. If that
changes, it rewrites the password.

It "should" not make a difference.
