Well, the latter is probably a good idea in general given what's
happening there.

But I think the bigger question is: who is on mobile? ;-)

It's probably an attempt to do for the Epic Mobile store what all the
free give-aways did with Epic Game Store on PC: lure people to
download the Epic app and create an account to get free games, knowing
that once they've been on-boarded, they are much more likely to
actually BUY stuff from the app.

Unfortunately, I think this tactic will work a lot better for Epic on
mobile than it will on PC. People do all sorts of stupid stuff to get
free games on mobile. Including downloading entire app-stores from
sketchy distributors. ;-)

So many reasons, happiness index, healthcare costs and general health
level, schooling if you've got or are planning on kids. I'm about to
age out of that myself, and having kids already makes it much more
difficult.

It's only ever been a 'grass may be greener' idea at the back of my mind
though. From what little curiosity I've had for it, just the same as
for moving to the USA legally from outside it, seems you need to have a
career in high demand, be rich, or marry into it, and possibly speak the
language. The English speaking ones seem to be in pretty dire straits
too. Maybe away from US/EU there's New Zealand but that's really way up
there on the rich/high demand requirements.

For Android they offer an apk file to download. I don't really want to
sideload it without knowing if those freebies are any good.
