[Yes, I'm cheating by posting this a couple hours early.
Once again, I'll be AFK at the appointed hour so I
needed a solution. I picked this one. Ant made me
do it!]

Wow, it's only been a week but -after the rush of the holiday's- it
seems like forever since I've done one of these things. I feel out of
practice; what's the next step to these announcements? Something about
a free game on Epic, wasn't it?

A small-scale business simulation game that has you in
charge of oil-production. It's not as dry as it sounds,
though, since (as the name implies) it's as much about
the unscrupulous deals you make as the resource management.
It does look a bit like a mobile-game, although its tiny,
finicky controls probably wouldn't play well with big
fingers so I guess its a PC game at heart. I'm not sure
it appeals to me, despite that.

It's not a bad game, but hardly an auspicious start for 2025 Epic
give-aways. Well, small starts can lead to big things, they say. And
The Number grows regardless.

Seven days to claim it; we're back to the old schedule. Such luxury to
have so much time to decide!
