It is a man's job to be self-disciplined and discipline. Well, it used
to be. "Just wait till your father gets home." A woman could rely on a
man back then, generally speaking, now the men are all mostly cowards
who hide behind the mother's apron.

Anyway, a woman messing around physically trying to restraint even a
young child can be hard, if not impossible, but not for the man. There
is no messing around.

But if a child strikes their mother, all the commandments are broken in
one go. In other words, in your terms, the greatest "moral" wrong has
been committed, and there are no excuses for it.

And that has to be dealt with or the household will disintegrate.

A child needs strong discipline for strong rebellion, like our girl in
that video. Personally, I think she got off lightly, but it was very
timely and effectively appropriate. What a perceptive and wise mother
