Former President Donald Trump is leading Vice President Kamala Harris in
every swing state by narrow but expanding margins, according to a new
poll.

The survey of likely American voters from AtlasIntel has revealed that the
Republican nominee is favored to win in North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona,
Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania as the 2024 Presidential
Election heads into its final days.

Four of the states are polling outside the margin of error.

In Arizona, Trump holds his widest margin � with a 52.3% to 45.8% lead
over Harris.

In Nevada, AtlasIntel projects the former president has a 51.2% to 46%
edge over the current veep.

In North Carolina � where both candidates campaigned Saturday �Trump holds
a 50.5% to 47.1% lead.

In Georgia, the Republican is leading 50.1% to 47.6% over the Democrat.

Several of the swing states are within the poll�s two point margin of
error.

In Michigan, 49.7% for Trump and 48.2% for Harris.

In Pennsylvania, 49.6% for Trump and 47.8% for Harris.

And the closest contest is Wisconsin � 49.7% for Trump and 48.6% for
Harris.

Police say Jarrod Adams followed a woman into her home and assaulted her.(Grand Forks County Correctional Center)

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A Grand Forks man is sentenced to spend 30 years in prison for kidnapping, assaulting, and attempting to sexually assault a woman.

Jarrod Jashawn Adams, age 29 at the time, was found guilty of Attempted Gross Sexual Imposition, Kidnapping, Terrorizing, Interference with a Telephone during an emergency call and Simple Assault.

Police say it happened around 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2022, in the 2600 block of 13th Avenue South in Grand Forks. According to court documents, the victim said a man was following her and she was scared for her safety.

Authorities say Adams followed a woman into a secure apartment building and asked her to use her phone. Adams is accused pointing toward his waistband, referencing he may have a weapon, and instructing the victim not to scream. Officials say she ran down the hallway into an apartment, but he grabbed her as she screamed for help.

According to court documents, the woman fought Adams away and he ended up running from the building. He was arrested later that same day.

On September 15, 2023, a judge sentenced Adams to 20 years for the attempted gross sexual imposition charge. He was also sentenced to 20 years on the kidnapping charge, with 10 years suspended. He was given credit for time already served from May 1, 2022 to September 15, 2023.

However, Adams was re-sentenced by the state supreme court on November 1, 2024, according to court records, but reportedly will still serve 30 years behind bars.

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A man is facing several felony charges after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a camp near the Red River in Fargo.

Kedrick Baker is charged with gross sexual imposition, attempted gross sexual imposition, felonious restraint, preventing arrest, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

According to court documents filed in Cass County, police were called to the bike path area between the Main Avenue bridge and NP Avenue bridge around 6:00 p.m. on August 3. Dispatchers said the caller was not providing information, but they could hear a woman screaming in the background.

Police arrived on scene and say they saw a black male with his pants and underwear down, on top of a woman laying on the ground. Officers say they announced they were with Fargo Police and Baker started yelling and walking toward them aggressively.

Court records say an officer drew his gun and gave Baker commands to show his hands and get on the ground. The officer says Baker continued to approach him aggressively.

“Kedrick stated multiple times while flexing and walking towards me that he was not going to get on the ground,” the officer wrote in court records.

The officer holstered his firearm and drew a taser. Police say the taser was discharged after Baker continued to ignore officers’ commands. The officer says Baker ripped the taser probes off and continued toward him. Baker ended up getting tased three times before finally sitting on the ground.

Officers say they found the woman laying on the ground, partially unclothed and still crying. According to court records, the victim says Baker followed her from the NP Avenue bridge. She says she had seen him before, but did not know him. She says she threw a rock at Baker to get him to stop following her.

The woman told officers that Baker assaulted her and tried to suffocate her, saying he was on top of her for at least 15 minutes. She says she started screaming because she didn’t know what else to do, court records state.

Police also interviewed a friend of the victim who was reportedly nearby. She says she heard the victim screaming, but she “kept going quiet.” She also told officers she heard the victim yell “get off of me.”

Baker and the female victim were both taken from the scene by separate ambulances. The woman was taken to a hospital to be evaluated. Court records say a rape kit was done and the victim possibly had broken ribs from the incident.

Baker was taken to a different hospital and medically cleared before being taken to the Cass County Jail.

Valley News Live previously reported on Kedrick Baker in 2021. At that time, he was charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct for allegedly following women and groping them at a grocery store in Moorhead.

Clay County Court records show he was convicted on one count of 5th degree criminal sexual conduct in April of 2024. He was sentenced to serve 275 days in the Clay County Jail, but given credit for 224 days already served, so ended up serving about 50 more days in jail. The second charge was dismissed.

Janesville police on Thursday arrested a suspect in a double homicide in Rockford, Illinois.

On Wednesday, Janesville police received information that the suspect, Shyron S. Henderson, 26, was in Janesville, Lt. Mark Ratzlaff said in a statement.

On Thursday, several places associated with Henderson were put under surveillance and Henderson was seen, Ratzlaff said.

The surveillance continued until Henderson got into a vehicle alone, the vehicle was blocked in by a marked police car and several officers conducted a high-risk stop. Henderson was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Rockford detectives for interviews, Ratzlaff said.

Henderson is facing warrants in Winnebago County, Illinois for failure to appear armed violent assault and murder with intent to kill or injure, Ratzlaff said.

Davoren Lanell Broussard

(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester man faces rape and firearm assault charges in Olmsted County Court.

According to court documents, Rochester police responded to an assault call in northwest Rochester on Thursday, July 4, after a woman allegedly said Davoren Lanell Broussard had threatened to kill her, and would “start shooting if he saw officers.”

Police located the woman and noted that she had several visible injuries, according to court documents.

The woman detailed physical and sexual assault, as well as an incident where Broussard allegedly put a gun to her head and pulled the trigger.

According to court documents, Broussard was previously convicted of felony threats of violence, and may not own or carry a firearm.

Court documents allege that police located a firearm scope cap, ammunition, and a “white powdery substance” at his residence.

Broussard was charged Friday with 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct–armed with a dangerous weapon and 2nd-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, as well as felon in possession of a firearm/ammunition.

He is held in the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center on $300,000 bail with conditions, or $500,000 bail with no conditions.

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A West Fargo man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in a vehicle outside of a Fargo apartment complex.

Vernon Scotland is charged with one felony count of sexual imposition involving threat or coercion.

According to court documents, police were called to Essentia Health on June 15 for a report of a sexual assault. The woman says she was leaving her apartment that morning when Scotland approached her. She told officers she did not know who Scotland was, and doesn’t remember all of the details, but ended up in an SUV in the parking lot.

She claims they were drinking and smoking marijuana, but when she said she didn’t want anymore, he forced her to continue drinking, court records state.

The victim says she fell asleep or blacked out at one point and woke up to a strong feeling of pain and Scotland on top of her, sexually assaulting her.

The woman says after the alleged assault, she immediately grabbed her clothes and walked to the Essentia Health emergency room.

Officers located Scotland and he denied all allegations, saying he had never met the victim. He was arrested and taken to the Cass County Jail with his next court appearance scheduled for July 31.

CLEVELAND (WOIO/Gray News) – A Cleveland man was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to raping three underage sisters and impregnating two of them.

The girls were ages 10, 12 and 13 at the time of the rapes between June 2020 and August 2021, according to a news release from Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley.

Tyrone Hughley, 37, was sentenced to life in prison with eligibility of parole after 60 years, the release said. He will also be listed as a Tier III Sex Offender and will have to register as such every 90 days for the rest of his life.

The investigation began when the 10-year-old girl was brought to a doctor by her grandmother and was found to be pregnant, the release said. The 13-year-old girl was also found to be pregnant.

Investigations led by the Cleveland Division of Police’s Sex Crimes Unit found all three sisters had been raped at their home, and fetal DNA from both pregnant sisters was “a 99.9999999% match” with Hughley, the release said.

Hughley was arrested on Nov. 17, according to court dockets. He was given a $100,000 bond.

Hughley pleaded guilty to three counts of rape Monday, the press release said, and received his sentencing Tuesday.

“Few crimes reach the level of depravity as the ones committed by Tyrone Hughley. He sexually assaulted three siblings and impregnated (them),” O’Malley said in a comment. “He has earned every day of his minimum 60-year sentence. I pray this family and these girls heal from this unimaginable trauma.”

Officials did not clarify how Hughley knew the girls.

FARGO (KFGO) – A 31-year-old Fargo man has been charged with seven felonies for allegedly raping a 12-year-old boy at his home on multiple occasions.

Court records show that Dominic Lilly met the boy on Sniffies, a social media app, and had the boy to his home between 10 and 15 times.

The boy, now 13-years-old, accused Lilly of picking him up and giving him alcohol and marijuana to the point of going unconscious.

The boy says he would lie in bed with Lilly and the two had multiple sexual encounters that the boy described as traumatic. Investigators say the boy had pictures and videos of Lilly and Lilly’s bedroom on his phone.

The boy also had a text conversation with Lilly after the abuse in which Lilly tells the boy to stop leading on older men and to get help. Lilly also asked the boy why he was on Sniffies if he wasn’t 18.

Lilly has been charged with five counts of gross sexual imposition with a victim under 15, one count of luring a minor by computer, and one count of transferring body fluid that may contain HIV. Lilly is being held in the Cass County jail.
