A Jacksonville man was arrested Wednesday, accused of having sex with a 13-year-old, North Little Rock police said.

Jalen Henson, 18, faces two counts of rape and two counts of second-degree sexual assault, according to an arrest report. He was taken into custody about 9:45 a.m. at the North Little Rock Police Department's investigations division offices at 615 W. 29th St., authorities said.

Henson was still in the Pulaski County jail as of Wednesday evening, records show.

On July 2, police requested the public’s help with locating a predatory offender who had tampered with his electronic monitoring device on June 30.

A state agent had informed Rochester Police that he also failed to return to his publicly disclosed placement location

The request for public assistance said 41-year-old Carvell Williams was last seen at the corner of South Broadway Ave. and 2nd St. in downtown Rochester.

Missing Rochester Sex Offender Captured in Minneapolis
On Thursday, Rochester Police Department Communication Coordinator Amanda Grayson said Williams was captured in Minneapolis on Wednesday night.

Hennepin County Jail records indicate he’s being held in the Minneapolis jail on behalf of Olmsted County authorities. Grayson says Williams will likely be transported back to Rochester in the coming days to formally face local charges.

Williams was discharged from the Minnesota Sex Offender Program on March 14. He then moved to Rochester and was housed at the Olmsted County government campus in the 2100 block of Campus Dr. Southeast.

Court records indicate he was convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in Hennepin County when he was 19 years old in June of 2003.

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Juries have found two men guilty of an attempted rape in Rochester.

Dejuan Mark-Anthony Gray, 26 of Rochester, and Timothy Nugene Bremer, 24 of Brooklyn Center, were arrested in July 2022 and charged with attempted first-degree criminal sexual conduct and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Law enforcement says Gray and Bremer tried to have sexual intercourse with a juvenile victim in January 2021. Investigators say the victim was able to get away.

Gray and Bremer have been convicted on both counts. Bremer’s sentencing is set for March 11. Gray is scheduled to be sentenced on April 24.

ROCHESTER, Minn. - Two men accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile female is pleading not guilty.

Mohamed Hussein Omer, 41 of Rochester, and Sharmake Beyle Omar, 30 of Rochester, are charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct and fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Investigators say the two men had sex in January 2022 with an underage female who had run away from her foster care placement. Court documents state when the victim was examined by a nurse, she was sleep deprived, dehydrated, and had nothing to eat recently.

Sharmake Omar was arrested in February 2022 and pleaded not guilty in August 2022. Mohamed Omer was arrested in August 2022 and pleaded not guilty Thursday. Both are set to stand trial beginning May 1

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested over the weekend as the suspect in a reported sexual assault.

Police Capt. John Sherwin says a woman in her 20s was at a party at a residence at 1634 8 ½ St SE Saturday evening when she was raped. Sherwin says the two know each other and the woman gave the man’s name to officers.

A patrol officer spotted the man in the downtown bar district a few hours later. Arrested was 36-year-old Marcus Shines.

He was booked on a charge of 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct.
