Hello folks;

I've managed to use my print scanner and a program called Text Cloner to
convert my computer into a reading machine. It's not helpful with books but
I can read magazines which have black print on a light background. I also
have an antique black and white scanner. If I can replace the SCSI card in
my old Windows 98 machine, I could use that as a back-up machine or while
the XP tower is doing its error check routine.

Sincerely,

Bruce Atchison - author of Deliverance from Jericho (Six Years in a Blind
School) and When a Man Loves a Rabbit ((Learning and Living With Bunnies).

I'm using Cicero at the moment,, which I gather uses the Abbey ocr engine.
One snag seems to be no way to tell it some words exist, therefore, Della
becomes Delia and Malden becomes Maiden no matter what you do...
