i am planning on fasting this yom kippur, including no water, but
while at services tonight for rosh hashana, i got terrible heartburn
(rare) and had to eat some tums, which solved the problem.

what am i supposed to do if i get unbearable heartburn like that on
yom kippur? i know you aren't supposed to fast if you are sick, so i
guess what i'm asking is, does it still COUNT as keeping the fast? or
is this like 12-steps where if you have one drink, that's it, you've
lost your 27 years of sobriety, or whatever, and having to start
counting all over again from day of birth. (people who see it as such,
these are considered the 12-step nazis, to whom i am opposed.i think
of it like a muscle, a pathway in your brain, learning a new way, and
it builds, strengthens, and grows, and it doesn't all just disappear
in a day, so that. is why i am anti-nazi.)

Yes, but I suspect
myself, what if it is a phantom heartburn, and really part of my
insidious bipolar disease trying to kill me, making me eat tums, cuz
we all know they are so delicious, people have confessed as much, and
its really a drive to make me receive for myself alone, and not

i got bad heartburn during and after k.n. had to eat tums.

but i may know why....

also, i forgot about how i have to keep following a specific course of
food and drink regimen for a while. see, i was doing well, so i forgot
about it, like, oh, i'm better. but now i'm not.

thenk you MC....now i'm doing my best....even though i fall short....i'm
trying really hard to heal myself...

tomorrow tons of liquid, and yogurt break lunch and dinner

save big dinner for late at night (drinking LOTS of water is a GREAT
HUNGER KILLER but watch the sodium levels) if i have room from water
