After years of setbacks the rockets is finally heading to the launchpad. I believe it's going to be a commercial failure. The only reason for it getting some orders is that it's "not SpaceX",

But more and more competitors whom are launching internet satellite constellations are dropping their reservations towards launching on Falcon 9. In the end only European government and institutional organizations will use Ariane 6, making the whole project financially unsustainable.
