'Bad Omen': Ancient Pyramid in Mexico Collapses Into Pile of Rubble

Extreme weather events and rising seas are putting precious heritage
sites around the world in harm's way.

A stone pyramid in Mexico is the latest to succumb to an increasingly
chaotic global climate. On the night of July 29, the 15-meter-high
(roughly 50-foot-high) square monument located in the state of
Michoacan suddenly slumped under the pressure of incessant rain, its
south wall crumbling into a pile of rubble.

Do you think the fact that they're a few thousand years old might factor
in its collapse? I'm sure the pyramid has put up with periods of heavy
rain before.

"They blame the extreme weather events of recent weeks."

So, this explanation would have to be evaluated for this location:
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ihuatzio_(archaeological_site)>

One previous extreme weather event: "Scenes of flood-ravaged
neighborhoods in one of the planet's driest regions stunned the world
this month. Heavy rains in the United Arab Emirates and Oman submerged
cars, clogged highways and killed at least 21 people. Flights out of
Dubai's airport, a major global hub, were severely disrupted.
....
....
Global warming is projected to intensify downpours."

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/04/18/climate/dubai-floods-what-we-know.html

Downpours can affect land, etc....

No man, I blame Tláloc, whose divine watch has finally determined it is
time for THE END OF DAYS. Science has no part in this discussion.

Pray to Tláloc before it is too late. If you have any jaguar skulls you
can offer in supplication, now is the time.

REPENT, YOU FOOLS!

Pray Tlaloc you fool! Then blow into a conch shell at the four
cardinal corners to show your respect to Ometeotl.

Oc nocetonal, oc mocetonal.

I quite like the idea of that female god that has six arms
myself... she could wash the dishes and give you a hand-job at
the same time.
