That's life for real American citizens, but not illegals.

A $50 million FEMA facility for Illegals with a 800 bed capacity is
sitting EMPTY and is right down the road from Asheville in Greensboro!
Why isn't this place being used for the people who actually need it?

https://www.wral.com/story/800-bed-facility-opens-for-child-migrants-in-greensboro/21331536/

A new facility is open in Greensboro to house unaccompanied child
migrants, but there is little information about how the center will operate.

The Influx Care Facilities (ICF) at the Greensboro Children's Center is
now operational and ready to receive children. However, operators told
WRAL News no children are currently scheduled to be placed there.

The 100-acre property at 4334 Hobbs Road is surrounded by a fence with
security guards posted at all entrances. WRAL News visited on Friday and
saw very few people coming and going.

The ICF Greensboro Children's Center in northwest Greensboro was
formerly the American Hebrew Academy.

Government documents show the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services is leasing the property, paying more than $50 million for five
years.

That's a whole separate funding pot, not connected to their emergency
budget.
==========

Here are the facts: Current FEMA funding for migrants does not come at
disaster reliefs expense. Neither of FEMAs two programs for migrants
uses money from the agencys Disaster Relief Fund, which is primarily
used after natural disasters. Congress funds the migrant and disaster
relief programs separately. And Trumps administration, not Bidens,
shifted FEMA funding including money from the Disaster Relief Fund to
address immigration.

============
The FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program (ESFP). The FEMA migrant-
spending program began as an offshoot of a Reagan-era plan called the
Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP). EFSP had the goal of providing
aid to homeless Americans, most notably the elderly, handicapped,
families with kids, Native Americans, and (especially) veterans.

That was essentially where ESFP funding went until a border crisis in the
late spring and early summer of 2019. More than 111,000 adult migrants
travelling with children in family units (FMUs) and unaccompanied alien
children (UACs) crossed the border illegally that May, and President
Trump needed additional money to get the kids out of CBP facilities.

Yes it does.

Just like the 175BILLION$$ Biden sent to Ukraine.

Same purse, same money, same taxpayer abuse.

https://nypost.com/2024/10/03/us-news/feds-say-theres-no-money-left-to-respond-to-hurricanes-after-fema-used-640-9m-this-year-on-migrants/

WASHINGTON — Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas set off
outrage Wednesday when he told reporters that the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) “does not have the funds” to see Americans
through the rest of this Atlantic hurricane season — after the agency
spent more than $1.4 billion since the fall of 2022 to address the
migrant crisis.

“We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have,”
Mayorkas said during a press gaggle on Air Force One en route to tour
damage from Hurricane Helene in South and North Carolina.

“We are expecting another hurricane hitting,” he added. “We do not have
the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season
and what — what is imminent.”

Critics pointed out that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
allocated $640.9 million this year in FEMA-administered funds to aid
state and local governments coping with the influx of asylum seekers —
though Mayorkas’ office fired back late Thursday, insisting that those
funds couldn’t be used for hurricane relief because Congress authorized
them specifically for the migrant crisis.

“This is easy. Mayorkas and FEMA — immediately stop spending money on
illegal immigration resettlement and redirect those funds to areas hit
by the hurricane. Put Americans first,” Texas Republican Gov. Greg
Abbott tweeted Wednesday in response to the DHS chief.

Wrong:

You keep running away from the answers, scumbag:

https://alphanews.org/mayorkas-bemoans-lack-of-fema-cash-for-hurricanes-after-spending-nearly-1-billion-on-migrant-crisis/

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) allocated over $1 billion
for a migrant assistance program over the past two fiscal years, but now
it is running out of cash for disaster relief as Hurricane Helene rages
on and more storms loom.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on Wednesday that
FEMA does not have enough funds to make it through hurricane season, The
Associated Press reported. Though resources are running short for
Americans displaced by Helene, the agency spent big on a program
providing “humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants” after their
release from Department of Homeland Security custody.

FEMA disbursed the funds as part of its Shelter and Services Program,
sending money to help cities, counties and states grapple with the
migrant crisis, records show. Shelter, food, transportation, acute
medical care and personal hygiene supplies are among the goods and
services provided to migrants using FEMA’s funds.

Congress and the Biden-Harris administration apportioned funding to FEMA
specifically for the Shelter and Services Program, according to federal
documents.
