California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has continuously denied that the
state’s policies have anything to do with sky-high gas prices the
state's residents pay, arguing that it’s “Big Oil” driving up gasoline
prices. But a new study shows policies have added as much as $1.91 per
gallon to what Californians pay at the pump.

According to AAA, Americans on Saturday were paying on average $3.177 a
gallon for gasoline. Californians were paying $4.676 per gallon on
average. The gap can vary. A year ago, the average national price was
$3.814 per gallon, while Californians were paying $6.059 per gallon.

According to the Energy Policy Research Foundation analysis by
researcher Max Pyziur, California has several policies impacting
gasoline prices that are entirely unique to the state.

In the 1960s, California began targeting gasoline formulations, which
created blend requirements exceeding those of the EPA. According to the
fondation analysis, this requirement alone adds 16 cents a gallon to the
price of California gas on average.

The blended gasoline, called California Reformulated Gasoline Blendstock
for Oxygenate Blending (CARBOB), is only available from in-state
refiners. The California Energy Commission put together a report in
August warning that the state’s remaining refineries will close as a
result of the commission’s projected decline in demand for gasoline as a
result of electric vehicle adoption, which the state is mandating.

The report proposed the state purchase and operate its own refineries,
but it also proposed the state develop relationships with out-of-state
suppliers to ship CARBOB into the state to secure a reliable supply of
California gas.

The foundation report pointed to two other environmental policies
driving up gas prices in California. The first is California’s Cap and
Trade program, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions statewide.
The state caps emissions, and the caps have steadily increased since the
program was first enacted in 2006. Major emitters have to obtain
allowances for every ton of greenhouse gasses they emit, and companies
buy and sell these allowances on a market.

The second policy driving up California’s gas prices is the state's Low
Carbon Fuel Standard, enacted in 2011. The standard targets the carbon
intensity of transportation fuels, which includes gasoline. And like the
Cap and Trade program, the standard grew more stringent over time.
Combined, the two policies, according to the foundation, increased gas
prices by 10 cents a gallon in 2004. By 2024, the additional cost was 52
cents per gallon.

On top of the policies is California’s excise tax, which was 18 cents
per gallon in 2000. That increased to 58 cents per gallon in 2024.

The foundation report states the premium Californians pay for their
climate-friendlier gasoline prices over that of the average American was
$1 during 2022 and 2023. Its peak was $1.91 per gallon on Oct. 3, 2022.
This year, it has hovered around 90 cents per gallon.

Newsom has responded to the state’s high gasoline prices by arguing that
oil companies are bad actors and need further regulation.

He set out to hold them accountable for alleged price gouging with an
anti-price gouging law. He also proposed a law that would require
refineries to store a certain amount of product to stave off any price
spikes resulting from drops in supply. The California legislature has
been reluctant to rapidly pass the bill, and the governors of Arizona
and Nevada signed a letter warning California the law would result in
supply shortages and increased gasoline prices.

Refineries and oil and companies have responded to the state's
regulations by doing less business in the state. The number of
refineries went from 43 in 1982 to just 14 this year. Chevron announced
in August it was moving its headquarters to Houston from San Ramon,
California.

This is widely known.

The big question is why do Californians constantly vote
these folks back in office. They must have a death wish.

Youz gots two unnerstan -- the fossil bidness is based on massive
subsidies. They make 3,4,5x more in taxpayer support than they do
actually selling their dubious products.
So youz gots two go where the taxpayer money is. Apparently not
in Gullifornia deez days.

In 2022, fossil fuel subsidies in the United States totaled $757 billion,
according to the International Monetary Fund.
-- EESI.org, 30 Jan 2024

During this period, the U.S. made an annual average revenue of 136.9
billion U.S. dollars through the production and marketing of fossil fuel
products.

You seem to have cut whatever. Skert?

The US fossil industries are subsidised to the tune of about $8000 per
househouse each year.
The industry overall survives on tax breaks and direct payments to
the tune of 3,4,5 times their actual revenue.
By sheer coincidence this is about an economic efficiency around
the same as the efficiency of most internal combision engines.
When you pay $100 for a tank of fas at the pump it must give you
a fuzzy warm feeling that $80 of it just goes to cause pollution and
doesn't push the car along at all.
Any other industry with that kind of "surcharge" would have been put
out of bidness long ago. Fortunately, it's mostly run along monopolistic lines.

So naturally you think we're going to take the petroleum industry's word for it.

LOL!

Although Trump is not among Project 2025'- 34 authors, more than half are appointees
and staff from his time as president; the words "Trump" and "Trump
Administration" appear 300 times in its pages. At least 140 former Trump
officials are involved in Project 2025, according to a CNN tally. It’s
reasonable to expect that a second Trump presidency would follow many of
the project’s recommendations.

Two more reasons to not vote for Trump in 31 days.

32) After losing, Trump falsely claimed the election was stolen, even
though his own inner circle, including his campaign manager,
White House lawyers, and his own Justice Department, and attorney general
told him it was not. Barr: "The claims of fraud were bullsh*t."

33) Trump kept telling his Big Lie even after more than 60 legal
challenges to the election were struck down in court,
many by Trump-appointed judges.

The majority of private-sector people are not that stupid.

The polls are run by Democrat politicians and their minions. They stole
the 2020 and they'll steal the 2024.

Those are lies and you know they're lies. Your goal is to cast doubt on the
Constitution in the hopes of gaining the power to terminate it.

Yes they will!

And they mean to destroy the Electoral College and pack the SCOTUS to
insure their thievery is generational and irreversible.

The peer-herded grant (subsidies) mick-science bidnits is supported by

Although Trump is not among Project 2025'- 34 authors, more than half are appointees
and staff from his time as president; the words "Trump" and "Trump
Administration" appear 300 times in its pages. At least 140 former Trump
officials are involved in Project 2025, according to a CNN tally. It’s
reasonable to expect that a second Trump presidency would follow many of
the project’s recommendations.

Two more reasons to not vote for Trump in 29 days.

34) Trump ordered the Department of Justice to
falsely claim that the election was corrupt.

35) Trump and his allies used threats to pressure state leaders
in Arizona and Georgia to falsify the election results.

caution must be taken in matters relating to the security of the persons
protected by 18 U.S.C. § 871, United States Attorneys are encouraged to
consult with the Counterterrorism Section (CTS) of the National Security

the same reason, dismissal of complaints under 18 U.S.C. § 871, when the
defendant is in custody under the Mental Incompetency Statutes (18
U.S.C. §§ 4244, 4246), requires approval from CTS. In other cases,
United States Attorneys must consult prior to dismissing a count
involving, or entering into any sentence commitment or other case
settlement involving a § 871 charge.

PHOENIX –David Michael Hanson, 41, of Phoenix, was arrested on Wednesday
for making online threats against the President and Vice-President.
Hanson was charged by Federal criminal complaint on Tuesday with five
counts of Threats Against the President and Successors to the Presidency
and five counts of Interstate Communication of Threats.

The complaint alleges that in November and December of 2023, while
living in Arizona, Hanson used a social media platform to post threats
to murder the President and Vice President of the United States. On
November 19, 2023, Hanson posted online a series of threatening
statements including one that stated, “#joeAndKamala I’m asking you to
resign on Monday your alternative is death brutally murdered.” After the
U.S. Secret Service spoke to Hanson and warned him that it was a Federal
crime to post such threats, on December 23, 2023, Hanson posted another
series of similar threats aimed at the President and Vice-President.

Each count of Threats Against the President and Successors to the
Presidency carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a fine of
up to $250,000, and up to three years of supervised release. Each count
of Interstate Communication of Threats carries a maximum sentence of
five years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to three years of
supervised release.

After steering these 2 storms straight into Florida using HAARP:

https://headlineusa.com/are-democrats-sabotaging-hurricane-relief-in-gop-strongholds-to-steal-2024/

(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy
asserted that the floods caused by Hurricane Helene could hinder the
mailing and counting of ballots from Republican voters ahead of the
November election.

Politico reported Friday roughly 40,000 ballots were mailed to voters in
Republican strongholds in North Carolina and Georgia before Hurricane
Helene ravaged these swing states. Only 1,000 of those ballots have been
returned.

During an interview with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham, McCarthy was asked
whether he believed the federal government would ensure those ballots
were cast and counted.

“Well, I doubt that because they are not even hard at work making sure
those people are still alive or they get resources,” McCarthy replied on
the Friday edition of Ingraham Angle. “They don’t even have electricity.
They don’t even have the ability—if it wasn’t for Elon Musk—they
wouldn’t be able to know what is going on right now.”

The former speaker’s comments followed Politico’s report that parts of
western North Carolina and eastern Georgia—both areas he decisively won
in 2020—were flooded by the relentless rain of Hurricane Helene.

Both states, carrying 16 electoral votes each, are considered
battlegrounds in 2024. Current polls show that Trump leads Harris by
about 1 percentage point.

If Republicans in the affected areas do not turn out to vote, Harris
could potentially win those states and the election.

McCarthy suggested that Americans in the affected regions are still
grappling with the hurricane’s effects. “I talked to many of them along
the way,” he stated, before pointing out a Gallup poll that delivered
troubling news for Democrats.

“Gallup poll just came back last week. It’s an interesting one. It
doesn’t ask who you are going to vote for. It asks, ‘Who do you identify
with? Republican or Democrat?’ And for the first time Republicans won by
more than 3 points, 48-45,” McCarthy said.

“They asked another question: ‘Who is best to solve the problems in the
future?’ Republicans, again. I will tell you President Trump is rising,”
the former speaker added.

And remember what Biden said on these storms, including off the charts
rare Milton:

Truthstream Media
@truthstreamnews
The reaction of the FEMA guy and Jill pointing at the sky in the

number and intensity of these weather events is actually the creepiest
part of this moment.

HAARP is at it again…..

Hurricane Milton is going to be an interesting one (Bad Feeling)…

Stay safe and vigilant….

It seems to appear out of no where on this radar…

https://www.independentsentinel.com/rescuers-why-they-think-state-federal-govts-is-standing-down/

Aerial Recovery is trying to find people still alive after Hurricane
Helene. People are stranded with no water or food, and the government
and the media are nowhere to be found.

To donate, go to Instagram, Aerial Recovery. Save Our Allies is another
place to donate.

Three North Carolina patriots and a team of 150 of Aerial Recovery have
a helicopter and are rescuing countless people. They see the government
as missing in action and possibly “demonic,” “stupid,” and “grossly
negligent.” One said, half-joking, that they “must love death and
destruction. Look what they do overseas.” One PhD said the federal
government wants the land or doesn’t want the people to vote and is just
going to bulldoze all of it. The areas hit the hardest are Trump country.

The Importance of Prayer: How a Christian Gold Company Stands Out by
Defending Americans’ Retirement
They haven’t seen government assistance. If they didn’t have a private
helicopter, many more people would be dead. One victim they rescued was
an 11-day-old premature infant.

The private helicopter pilot and his 150 volunteer retired military
personnel said they receive no help from the local, state, or federal
government.

Five Things New Preppers Forget When Getting Ready for Bad Times Ahead/
They are turned away in Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and other stricken
areas. The bureaucrats wouldn’t let them help or film. They believe it
is criminal.

This group said they could smell the dead bodies.

Christian Gold Company Defies Industry’s Retirement Fearmongering
Through Prayer and Biblical Hope
One rescuer said:
“The federal government, none of them are there. And the county
officials, they don’t want us in there. We actually were turned away
from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, and we were turned away by the police.
We also had a news crew in there from a national news agency and they
were not allowed in. So there’s criminal activity going on.”

They believe criminal charges should be brought for dereliction of duty.
One rescuer is paying $6,000 a day using his American Express card to
rescue people. Some counties are told they “are on their own.” No help
is coming, and many of these people are poor with few resources.

Why Physical Precious Metals Are the Retirement Safe Haven Most Older
Christians Seek
The rescuer said:
“I should say when we went to refuel in Asheville from doing a rescue, I
saw two Air Force Blackhawks, and there was two teams of …rescue men.
These guys are all paramedics, and the rescue specialists like, that’s
literally what they do. So I went up to him, I was like, hey guys, this
is who I am, and I started telling them this is how you need to be
looking for these people: out there looking for SOS carved in the mud,
stuff like that.

“And he goes, ‘yeah we want to go do that, but we we are stuck here. We
cannot go fly. We are waiting on Title 10 orders. Like, we cannot do
nothing.’

“And that’s the story I’m getting from everybody in the military, but
these guys actually flew from Tucson Arizona to Mood,y took their
helicopters because the Moody guys couldn’t go up because the base is on
lockdown for whatever reason. And then, now they’re sitting in North
Carolina, and they can’t do nothing. They’re just sitting there
literally on the taxiway, on the on the parking ramp, doing nothing.”

Meanwhile, the US Biden-Harris Government
Vice President Kamala Harris has offered a laughable $750 in FEMA relief
for hurricane victims.

Kamala gave $157 million to Lebanon [Hezbollah] and $750 to some
households of Hurricane Helene victims.

The Biden-Harris administration has approved:$8.7 billion in military
aid for Israel, $8 billion in military aid for Ukraine, and $567 million
in military support for Taiwan.

The government gave $20 million more to migrant welcome centers. Ben
Berguam found one Holiday Inn filled with illegals.

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2024/10/07/former-obama-adviser-pretty-much-says-nc-trump-supporters-are-too-dumb-to-vote-n2645770

They don’t even try to hide their joy over Hurricane Helene ravaging
Georgia and North Carolina. These are key swing states this year, and
predominantly pro-Trump counties have been hit the hardest. Asheville,
North Carolina, a liberal bastion, has also been devastated by this
storm. But former Obama adviser David Axelrod isn’t worried about
Democratic voters because they’re intelligent, rich, and know how to
cast their ballots. The rural Trump base is too dumb—he essentially said
that (via Fox News):

Former Obama senior adviser David Axelrod argued that Vice President
Kamala Harris voters will be clever enough to navigate voting in the
wake of the devastation from Hurricane Helene, while saying that rural
Trump voters will have a harder time getting to the polls.

Axelrod made the claim during an episode of his podcast "Hacks on Tap"
that aired Wednesday, predicting that liberal voters in Asheville, North
Carolina – a predominantly blue area in the state – will "figure out a
way to vote" more so than conservatives in the storm’s aftermath.

Describing Asheville as a "blue dot" in the state, he continued, "Those
voters in Asheville are – they’re, you know, the kind of voters that
will figure out a way to vote. You know, they’re upscale, kind of
liberal voters, and they’re probably going to figure out a way to vote,"
Axelrod said.

"I’m not sure a bunch of these folks who’ve had their homes and lives
destroyed elsewhere in western North Carolina – in the mountains there –
are going to be as easy to wrangle for the Trump campaign," the
political commentator hypothesized.

"I don’t know how that’s all going to play out, but it’s an
unpredictable element in North Carolina that has made it, maybe a little
more interesting," he mused.

Communities in North Carolina – which Axelrod noted is the second-most
rural state in the country – were hit especially hard by the effects of
Hurricane Helene. Catastrophic flooding has destroyed roads and bridges,
cutting off communities from getting much-needed aid.

These remarks feed into the narrative of why the Biden-Harris response
has been lethargic. They know that helping these people means helping
Trump—they can’t accept that:
Liberals hate us. We know this, but now they’re making their feeling
known publicly. These opinions are no longer confined to the basement.

FEMA Disaster Preparedness Meeting:

"We should focus our efforts on LGBTQIA people… they struggled before
the storm"

"FEMA relief is no longer about getting the greatest good for the
greatest amount of people…. It's about disaster equity."
