New year greetings from Darwin! :)

We are excited to bring forth the 4th edition of Darwin from 2nd to 5th February 2023, a global celebration of bio-enthusiasts to learn, research and network with scientists, researchers and community leaders from around the world.

About Darwin:
Darwin is an International Conference that is an initiative of Somaiya Vidyavihar and Somaiya Trust, organized by Bioriidl - India’s First DIY Biolab, riidl Somaiya Vidyavihar. We are proud to be supported by DST, DBT-BIRAC, Government of India, and MSInS, Government of Maharashtra.

Over the past three editions, Darwin has witnessed participation from over 50+ countries and the conference being conducted in 7+ languages with talks from eminent researchers like Prof. George Church from Harvard Medical School, Mr. Phil Ross from Mycoworks, Dr. Jason Kelly from Ginkgo Bioworks and more.

What to expect at the conference?

- Talk sessions by renowned researchers and scientists in the field Biodesign, Sustainability, and Food & Agriculture

- Discussions on global topics like 'GMO foods: a global concern or a health risk?' and 'Challenges in the implementation in the field of Biodesign'

- Hands-on workshop experiences on 12+ topics ranging from making plant-based meat, biomaterials, analysis of agricultural methods & several more

- Opportunity to experience and present at Biohackathon (a problem-solving competition), Research Symposium (a paper presentation platform), and Startup Summit (an expo for life sciences startups and investors)

- & lots of networking with researchers and bio-enthusiasts from the global bio-community
