Hello food scientists,
Do you have any information which might help me obtain a food which has
no taste and provides all nutrients one needs, such that it could
replace all meals?
I am not a food scientist by any means, just a layperson, so I'm
probably lacking much food information which would be relevant.

Information I have so far:
• such a food would not be acidic (acidity tastes sour)
• " have no Na⁺ ions when exposed to saliva (to avoid saltiness)
• " have no monosaccharides (to avoid sweetness)
• " have no L-glutamate (to avoid umami)
• " avoid bitter components, which seem more complex to categorize than
the components which cause the other tastes
• such a food might have starch as an ingredient (tasteless on its own
for several minutes after exposure to saliva)
◦ hydrolyzation of starch before consumption would be something to
avoid (would break it down into sweet-tasting monosaccharides)
◦ some acids can hydrolyze starch, another reason such a food would
not be acidic
• The table in section B.24.200 of Canada's Food and Drug Regulations
(https://laws.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/C.R.C.%2C_c._870/page-48.html#574139)
indicates the amounts of vitamins and minerals a serving of such a
food would contain.
(As I am Canadian, I looked at Canada's Food and Drug Regulations.
I'm told these are some of the most stringent meal replacement
classification restrictions.)
(While these regulations indicate what may be sold or advertised as a
meal replacement, my primary goal is a food for my personal use,
not for profit.)

The reason I want a tasteless meal replacement is because my ARFID
results in my diet being unbalanced due to avoiding most tastes, so a
tasteless nutritious food would solve my nutrition problems.
