Right not, I cannot open comp.misc at:

The current error is: "The connection has timed out".
A minute ago the site reported an error while connecting
to the message server.

I have relaxed the trigger for this error. It's not really an error at the
server end, it's too many hits that resemble DOS, so I have loosened it a
bit. Let's see if that helps.
