Hello

I run a gateway that allows to peek at Freenet simply from regular Internet.

* freenet.p2p.life/gateway/ to view freesites. only from very limited list. works slowly. Using (a bit patched up) good old SCGIPublisher plugin and Nginx. Using https, but also allowing http.

* news.p2p.life to access via NNTP the messages on Freenet FMS. Whitelist. Only not controversial groups, users, and no shared accounts.

You can change that in the news server's settings, but be aware that
no-login and posting-enabled news servers a a spam target.

Yes, that is because I used to run FudForum before I wrote this forum software (rslight). FudForum had a major problem with sessions on Tor, and you could easily end up in someone else's session and post as them. To avoid that, I force entering user/pass on every post, and you can decide whether to keep that info saved in your browser or not.

Also, glad to have you here! Keep us posted on your projects.

Very nice, thanks for providing such a site. I did do that a few years ago and it was interesting. I haven't looked at your site yet but on mine the main thing I had to make sure is that if there was a problem with my router connecting to the site, it didn't present the router interface to the end user. Not hard to fix, but don't really remember how I did it now.
