When a user creates a new 'display name' in their Configuration, we now add it to the aliases.conf file. This allows mail sent to the alias name to arrive in the user's inbox.

Note: existing usernames and aliases are checked before allowing a 'display_name', therefore alias, to be created.

Changing display_name overwrites your previous display_name in aliases.conf,

There are two new $OVERRIDES options ($config_dir/overrides.inc.php):

// Reserved aliases
'reserved_names' => array("admin", "sysop", "rslight"),

These 'reserved_names' may not be used as aliases using Configuration. Admin should manually create these in aliases.conf:
admin:you
sysop:you
etc.

You need to add yourself to the below option, or the above aliases will be deleted when you create a display_name.

// Users who may have duplicate aliases in aliases.conf
'duplicate_aliases' => array("admins user name"),

This allows the admin (or whomever you wish) to have multiple aliases. Not multiple display_names, just aliases.
