Finally a new game for 68k (and PowerPC) Macs is out! I've played the first few
levels and love it. Reminds me a lot of "Chip's Challenge" on my dad's old Atari
ST. I understand not everybody enjoys puzzle games but this feels so much like
authentic early 1990's gaming on my IIci ... really exciting! :-)

Somebody else joining in playing Angry Robots? How far do you get in the game?

Wonderful! I really enjoy this kind of game style. Makes me think of
some kind of box moving puzzle game from my youth.

Thanks for that, have just spent an enjoyable 5 minutes with it and will
have a proper go later. It's good to see software still being produced, I
think I'll buy the full version to offer my encouragement!

Do you know of any other programmers that are still releasing games for
Classic OS?

Yeah I installed it too and the first few levels look promising!

Remind me to install Chip's Challenge on my TT and or falcon (if it
works on those ;-)

How far have you come yet? I was on Level 8, but decided that I'll be
waiting for my physical box version before I will deep-dive into Angry
Robots with the objective to beat it on my IIci. (yes, that's quite a
goal ... )

> Do you know of any other programmers that are still releasing games for

There's very few! There's some Interactive Fiction adventure games that
are also compiled for the Macintosh - and some of them even released on
floppy disk in a really nice box. Talk about mid 1980's nostalgia! But
we're talking text-based adventures, no fancy graphics. I try to post
about every project that I know of here in this group.

Looking over at the release list on
http://www.macos9lives.com/release-list, it seems there's only DeskPets
coming up. But let's hope there's some surprise gaming projects in the
making, lots of hobby developers prefer to finish up a project before
announcing it.
