Wallops is a light-weight IRC client written from the ground-up for early Mac
OS, first released in 2022. What sets it apart from MacIRC or Ircle is the low
requirements - 0.5 MB of RAM and a 68000 CPU suffice, so this will run even on
an original Mac Plus with 1 MB RAM! Wowza!

Version 2.0 has now been released and brings a lot of new features with it while
retaining the small footprint. To me, it feels both old and modern at the same
time - like it *looks* like classic software, but it offers more "modern stuff"
like tabs and multiple connections.

Very nice! I'm having my SE/30's logic and analog / power supply boards
cleaned and recapped at the moment, but can't wait to try it out once
it's back up and running!
