Why would I ask about them directly telling me the system was being updated?
What would the value be? The system was being updated. No mystery. Nothing
that impacts my life.

You assume there is all sorts of bad stuff going on. Have you considered
checking with a mental health professional what this says about you? Not being
snarky... you have the idea you should always check and verify... how have you
done so with your own mental health in how it revolves around your focus on
developers, apps, and forums?

I have NEVER encountered ASC forum updates. I've never heard any mention
of them. Asking on the ASC forums if anyone else has noticed this is a

I'm pretty sure he has 'issues' and some offer him some 'care in the
community' but he doesn't seem to appreciate or benefit from it.

He has admitted to being instilled with a sense of entitlement and that
is also part of his issue.

He gets himself banned from most places he pollutes and because he can't
learn from his mistakes (because he doesn't see / accept them as such),
simply carries on doing the same old same old.

I've had enough of it / him but then I've never suffered fools (or
trolls, something else he has admitted to being) gladly.

Cheers, T i m

I did it the day I said that... a few minutes before. I think this is the link

For me that might be a good thing... but it does not rain often here. Hope you
have a good day.

That's it! (I stumbled across it later!). Thanks.

Personally, I think using Option-Command-R or Shift-Option-Command-R to
start up from *Recovery over the Internet* is a better approach.

It's been good, thanks. My daughter and her family have been over to
enjoy a Sunday roast with us here at home. This is the first occasion
for more than a year because, as you know, we had flood/water damage to
our house in August 2023. All went well! 🙂

Excellent to hear. Truly. I have been doing a lot on my place as well...
really coming together.
