Happy Thanksgiving...

Yet, even on this Thanksgiving holiday, Apple murders privacy.
<https://i.postimg.cc/520XStYk/apple-murdered-privacy.jpg>

Every single day, day after day after day, after day, even on holidays like
Thanksgiving - Apple nags me to log into their mainframe tracking servers!

Yet I'm already logged in!

Even though I'm already logged into my Apple account (as I haven't ever
logged out since Apple reset my password after not logging into Apple's
mainframe tracking servers for two years running even though I was already
logged in), Apple is constantly nagging me - without pause - to log in
again and again and again and again and again and again and again and
again.

Why Apple owners put up with Apple's constant tracking is absurd.
Only Apple murders privacy this way. Nobody else. Just Apple.

How is being asked to log in to a service the MURDER of privacy?

Apple is making a catenary in a coal mine of privacy. The murders (of
crows) will soon follow. And Dexter will be hot on the murderers’ trail
because we are deep into fantasy land thanks to this risible thread. And
because I miss that show.

3 for 3. What do I mean by that?

* Tuesday, my SO was chatting with a friend and a Dexter
reference surfaced.

* Yesterday we were watching "Staircase" and I mentioned
Dexter to her (where she told me about the Tues. mention).

* Now you mention Dexter.

Bloody coincidence?

That’s interesting because Ed Olmos was in 3 notable roles that IMO make
him one of the greats of all time. Castillo in Miami Vice. Adama in
reimagined BSG! And the professor in the icebox in Season Six of Dexter,
which was also set in Miami like Miami Vice. BSG took place in outer space.

He was also the dad in Selena!

Castillo was soft spoken but as anyone familiar with that show knows he was
the ultimate badass with the coolest backstory. Bushido! Crockett and Tubbs
were pretenders.

Not sure how you make that connection to what I posted. After season 2
or 3, I didn't find Dexter all that compelling - watched the whole
'rest', but it wasn't as much fun as the first 2 seasons.

I had to look him up - but instantly recognizable.

Not a Miami Vice fan. I think I lasted 3 episodes.

Selena - I'll look out for it in the DVD bins.

You Apple trolls hate all facts about Apple's operating systems.

I'm simply stating the fact that no other common consumer operating system
*requires* you to create an account to download apps - which is a fact.

The second fact is that once you've logged into that account, if you never
log into it again (and again & again, ad infinitum) Apple nags you daily.

The third observation is after two years of those nags, Apple will
unilaterally brick your device such that you can't log into it anymore.

None of you Apple trolls know this because you know nothing about Apple.

The only way back into your device is to show up at an Apple store with
your government ID and that is the point about Apple murdering privacy.

Note that you *never* logged out. You just never logged in every day.
Try it.

Tell me what you see.

Andrew, just today, Google required me to respond to a text sent to my
iPhone to 2FA validate a Google account request.

You are living in a fantasy world.

Google does *not* require 2FA. It only required it for about 2 months a
couple of years ago, and after the brouhaha, Google rescinded that decree.

Yet, you Apple trolls live in a fantasy world where 2FA is required.
Who is *that* stupid?

Nobody, right?
Except you Apple trolls.

As I've stated many times - and which you just proved - you Apple trolls
know nothing about anything - least of all about Apple or Google OS's.

The fact is well known that Google does NOT require any account on Android
for Android to work - so there's no MFV/2FA/2FV when there is no account.

It's also well known even if you do have a Google Account (I have plenty,
for example), you *never* need to use 2FA to access that account.

Given those facts, what's always the case with you Apple trolls is
A: You "think" you know something about this topic;
B: And yet, you know nothing at all about it.

None of you Apple trolls knows anything about Google or Apple systems.

Who lives in the fantasy world when Apple trolls fantasize that Google
requires 2FA when everyone else in the entire world knows it does not.

Strange, I have had Apple devices for 6 years and never had this happen.

I can vaguely recall there being some sort of iCloud? glitch at Apple a
few years ago, where it was like one's password wasn't being remembered.
Can't say that I can recall its resolution.

In any case, having registered stuff isn't unique to just Apple: I
happened to just run into this with Microsoft, where I had made a change
and ended up "signing off" in MS-Office. I then found that the live
Financial Market functions (such as [@Company].[Ticker symbol] or
[@Company].Price ) in Excel stopped pulling live data. Signed back in,
and its works just fine.
