Hello. Can you show me adventures (point and click, but I don't have
anything against a 3rd person shooter/3D game) which are set at hotels/motels?
Or maybe taking place at remote gas stations, on semi-deserted places, close
to a motel setting. Thanks.

Well, the first that comes to mind is "Day of the Tentacle" (1994,
LucasArts), where much of the game takes place in a hotel.

Then, there's "Starship Titanic". It's not really a hotel (it's an
ocean-liner... in space!) but some of the aesthetics are similar.

It's not focused on the hotel (and is arguably more action/horror than
adventure) but there's the Grand Hotel features in a number of Silent
Hill games (gas stations too, so bonus!).

It's been a very long time since I played it, but "Leather Goddesses
of Phobos 2" had a 1950s motel in it. I really don't remember much
about that game.

A hotel features in "Thimbleweed Park". And "Truberbrook" too. And
"Virgina". But they aren't really the focus of any of those games;
just locations you visit.

It's not at all an adventure game, but the action in "Pacific Drive"
revolves around its gas-station base/headquarters (there's also motels
to explore/loot)

Day of the Tentacle and Thimbleweed Park are already mentioned, so i can
only think of Hotel Dusk for Nintendo DS. It's kinda weird and does not
use a conventional presentation at all.

Kentucky Route Zero has the remote gas station in a semi-deserted place,
but only for the first act of the first episode. It does have a lot of
lonely, semi forgotten places that time forgot ages ago.

Although it does not fit well with this question and you spend limited
time on it, Control has a genuine motel that is the true embodiment of
the trope. Every time they agents need some time to rest when traveling,
they always end in a motel that is exactly how they expect a motel to be.

There's a motel in "Alan Wake" too, albeit only very briefly near the
end and it's not really a focus of the game. There's also a camper-van
campsite (that's like a hotel where you bring your own room!) in the
middle-bit of the game, and several gas stations.

But both games are very heavily action titles. Why, there's not an
inventory puzzle amongst them to be found! ;-)

But there are other games:

Leisure Suit Larry has you on a cruise ship (it's a hotel on the
ocean!). He also visits several hotels for his...deeds.

"Gabriel Knight 3" has you visit a hotel. It's the site of the
infamous cat-hair mustache puzzle.

The Hotel Ubi is a location in "Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars"
(a.k.a. Circle of Blood)

There's the Joruney Man Inn (a medieval motel!)in "The Longest
Journey" (it returns in "Dreamfall" too)

Honestly, motels, hotels and gas stations are quite common in games,
to the point that actually remembering them is difficult BECAUSE they
don't really stand out. They rarely are important locations, however.
More specificity in the nature of the request would be helpful.

The Painscreek Killings
https://store.steampowered.com/app/624270/The_Painscreek_Killings/ is set
in a deserted town, and one of the locations (among many) is a hotel. I
enjoyed this game immensely, highly recommended!
