its time to relax... and maybe worry about returns or where you're
going to put the loot you do keep. Speaking of loot, let's go see what
Epic has for us today.

Nominally a cyberpunk-themed first-person shooter,
the "Ghostrunner" games owe almost as much to mobile
runner games. While they don't force constant forward
motion on the player (you can stop and walk around,
even go back and explore!), a lot of the experience
is around maintaining your momentum. It's a sort of
game where speedrunning (minus the clever hacks) is
sort of the main theme. As such, it's rather niche in
its fanbase, and if you don't love the challenge of
finding just the perfect path to maximize your jumps
and speed, you probably won't get much enjoyment
from this game. It sure does look pretty, though.

Well, that's certainly a game! But is it a game worth keeping, or is
it going on the return pile? That's up to you. 24 hours for this one,
as usual. And, also as usual, more games tomorrow!

I didn't care much for for the first game only playing it long enough to
figure that out for sure.
