It should be noted the second freebie is ONLY for the the Sherman Hill
DLC expansion and does not come with the base "Train SimWorld" game
required to actually use it.

But it makes me think... no "Train Simulator Classic" freebie this
year? Usually Dovetalil Games (the developers) offered a starter
freebie collection to hook new whales into the franchise. I managed to
acquire 50+ expansions to the game over the year without paying a
cent. But I guess that game is getting a bit old, so they're pushing
people onto "Train Sim World" instead. With a bonus of making people
have to repurchase all their DLC! Genius!

But -silly monkeys!- you need to give the base game away for free
first! Dontcha know how it works? "C'mere kid, have a hit. First one's
free."

Anyway, while thank you for the announcements Ant, I'll be skipping
both games. The latter because it requires money to play, and the
former because it's just too retro for my taste. But I'm sure some
will appreciate the effort. Maybe they'll even give you some Internet
points. ;-)
