Just a follow up.

I was the guy trying to find a way to change the output font for the LPR
command so something I liked better.

Well the 'enscript' program saved the day and does excactly what I was
hoping for. Just used it 20 minutes ago to print my letter (yes, I still
write letters).

Works great. I forgot who recommended it, but thank-you.
