This I tend to agree with. Americans, at least the current generations, are spoiled, out of shape
both physically and mentally and I'm sorry to say are lazy and entitled.
I've spent time doing business in Russia, France and Italy and the culture is wildly different than
America.
People walk, ride bicycles, take public transportation and don't stuff their face like pigs.
The people in America who remember or experienced the Vietnam war, which was a travesty, are dying
off and those who remember the threat of WW2 are almost gone at this point.
Wake up folks because we are currently sitting on the precipice of WW3.

We need several things.
A. Candidates that are middle America and not extreme right nor left.
B. We need to stop spending like drunken sailors on shore leave.
C. We need to cut regulations as they hinder business development.
D. The tax system needs a complete rewrite. Especially loopholes for the rich.
E. The immigration system, for LEGALS, needs a complete rewrite. Why does it take 6 years for a
person looking to immigrate LEGALLY take 6 years?
F. We need to evaluate the immigrants who are here already, legally, under the DACA program and
they should be first in line.

And while all this is going on we need to fully secure the border and return to no more catch and
release and enforce remain in Mexico and so forth until we can normalize the process.

Pouring water into a bucket full of holes will be a failure unless the holes are plugged first.

I'm on board with A..F. Other than an "iron curtain"-style approach,
I don't think a "fully secured" border exists. You can't draw a line
on a map where the standard of living on one side is *radically*
different from the other. If the standards are comparable (e.g.:
U.S./Canada and most European borders) they're easily "secured"
because there isn't great incentive to cross. OTOH, when the
disparity becomes great enough, it becomes impossible to prevent
people from crossing... and, even if we *could*, walls work to keep
people *in* just as well as out.

The primary destabilizing forces to our south are the para-military
groups feeding our national drug appetite. If we in the US would quit
doping, the cartels would dry up over night; this might be like
saying: "If it weren't for the sudden stop..."

Pointing to the origin of the dope and saying: "Make them stop
shipping it!" won't work. We must quit buying it. Compared to this
task, building a wall is simplistic... and ineffective. Try telling a
doper from either end of the political spectrum that they can't have
their daily dose, and you'll have a fight on your hands.
