PHOENIX –David Michael Hanson, 41, of Phoenix, was arrested on Wednesday
for making online threats against the President and Vice-President.
Hanson was charged by Federal criminal complaint on Tuesday with five
counts of Threats Against the President and Successors to the Presidency
and five counts of Interstate Communication of Threats.

The complaint alleges that in November and December of 2023, while
living in Arizona, Hanson used a social media platform to post threats
to murder the President and Vice President of the United States. On
November 19, 2023, Hanson posted online a series of threatening
statements including one that stated, “#joeAndKamala I’m asking you to
resign on Monday your alternative is death brutally murdered.” After the
U.S. Secret Service spoke to Hanson and warned him that it was a Federal
crime to post such threats, on December 23, 2023, Hanson posted another
series of similar threats aimed at the President and Vice-President.

Each count of Threats Against the President and Successors to the
Presidency carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a fine of

hosted by local chapters of the Council on American-Islamic Relations,

trust, and eventually pave his way into the house.

The lady soon realized that the person was impersonating to be a
government worker, she tried to shut the door but Floyd brute-forced his
way into the house. Consequently, a Ford truck pulled up to the house’s
main entrance, five people exited the truck and went straight inside the
lady’s house.

According to Daily Mail (UK), the court report mentions that the victim
identified George as the criminal, tallest of all the robbers, who
pressed a pistol to her stomach and forced his way into the house.
George Floyd’s height was 6 foot 6 inches.

‘This large suspect then proceeded to search the residence while another
armed suspect guarded the complainant, who was struck in the head and
sides by this second armed suspect with his pistol while she screamed
for help.’

Not finding any cash, Floyd and other men took jewelry and the lady’s
cellphone and fled the scene using the truck. A neighbor had witnessed
the robbery attempt, wrote down the license plate number, and reported
the incident to 911 instantly.

The police followed the lead and successfully tracked down the car.
Floyd was found behind the wheels. Later, his identity was
cross-verified with the women who reported that a tall suspect had
placed a gun to her abdomen and invaded her home forcefully.

PHOENIX –David Michael Hanson, 41, of Phoenix, was arrested on Wednesday
for making online threats against the President and Vice-President.
Hanson was charged by Federal criminal complaint on Tuesday with five
counts of Threats Against the President and Successors to the Presidency
and five counts of Interstate Communication of Threats.

The complaint alleges that in November and December of 2023, while
living in Arizona, Hanson used a social media platform to post threats
to murder the President and Vice President of the United States. On
November 19, 2023, Hanson posted online a series of threatening
statements including one that stated, “#joeAndKamala I’m asking you to
resign on Monday your alternative is death brutally murdered.” After the
U.S. Secret Service spoke to Hanson and warned him that it was a Federal
crime to post such threats, on December 23, 2023, Hanson posted another
series of similar threats aimed at the President and Vice-President.

Each count of Threats Against the President and Successors to the
Presidency carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a fine of
up to $250,000, and up to three years of supervised release. Each count
of Interstate Communication of Threats carries a maximum sentence of
five years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to three years of

PHOENIX –David Michael Hanson, 41, of Phoenix, was arrested on Wednesday
for making online threats against the President and Vice-President.
Hanson was charged by Federal criminal complaint on Tuesday with five
counts of Threats Against the President and Successors to the Presidency
and five counts of Interstate Communication of Threats.

The complaint alleges that in November and December of 2023, while
living in Arizona, Hanson used a social media platform to post threats
to murder the President and Vice President of the United States. On
November 19, 2023, Hanson posted online a series of threatening
statements including one that stated, “#joeAndKamala I’m asking you to
resign on Monday your alternative is death brutally murdered.” After the
U.S. Secret Service spoke to Hanson and warned him that it was a Federal
crime to post such threats, on December 23, 2023, Hanson posted another
series of similar threats aimed at the President and Vice-President.

Each count of Threats Against the President and Successors to the
Presidency carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a fine of
up to $250,000, and up to three years of supervised release. Each count
of Interstate Communication of Threats carries a maximum sentence of
five years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and up to three years of
supervised release.

America's Tax Cheating Politicians:

Since Tax Day will be the talk of the weekend, The Daily Beast scoured
hundreds of news reports going back to the 1990s to find which political
party can claim the most tax offenders. We came up with a list of 25
politicians who have been embroiled in tax scandals over the past two
decades.

We devised the following points system to rank them:

• 3 points for each felony tax offense.
• 1 point for each misdemeanor tax offense, or official ethics conviction.
• .5 point for each felony tax indictment.
• .25 point for each misdemeanor tax indictment.

And, because a Congressional tax scandal garners more negative attention
than a mayoral tax scandal, we also took the level of public office into
account:

• 1 point for a state legislator or mayor.
• 3 points for a U.S. representative, statewide official, or federal
lobbyist.
• 5 points for a governor or presidential nominee.

Finally, because come sentencing time the courts tend to favor
defendants who plead guilty, we knocked off a point for the scofflaws
who pleaded guilty. Ties were broken by the amount of taxes owed, if
determinable, or by fine levied.

The verdict? Turns out Republicans have the bigger names—Jack Abramoff,
Randy “Duke” Cunningham—but Democrats have the most tax scandals by a
margin of 18 to 7. ... Republicans and Tea Partiers tend to shout the
loudest when it comes to tax reform, and they’re also the most law
abiding—when it comes to paying their taxes, anyway.
