> Once again proof that Apple cannot be trusted.

The bad guy didn't have to register a recovery email with Proton Mail.
Ask me how I know this.

Also the bad guy could have used Tor for his Proton Mail activities.
Again, ask me how I know this.

The main problem with his iCloud account, if we assume he owned it due to
owning an iOS device, is there is no privacy possible on iOS devices.

Every other common consumer operating system will easily allow you to NOT
register the device to a mothership tracking account (yes, even Win11).

Not only is it only Apple who requires that you be logging into that
mothership tracking account 24/7/365, but Apple will unilaterally brick
your device if you refuse to constantly log into the device.

Again, ask me how I know this.
<https://i.postimg.cc/LXzB3Lc0/appleid01.jpg> Apple _forces_ a log in!
<https://i.postimg.cc/8k3GQyj4/appleid09.jpg> Apple tracks your activity

<https://i.postimg.cc/nrFHSvby/appleid11.jpg> Apple _forces_ extra logins!
<https://i.postimg.cc/Y9kkj19v/appleid12.jpg> Apple tracking server login

Not only is no account needed to use an Android phone (or Windows/Linux),
but Apple literally inserts your unique tracking ID into EVERY app you
install on your iOS device so that they can track app activity.

Why do you think Apple requires you to be logged into their servers?
Why do you think Apple adds a unique tracking ID to every app installed?

Apple's lack of privacy is coupled with an immense lack of security too.
Consider that the iPhone is the most exploited phone in phone history!
<https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog>

You can't have any privacy or security on any iOS device, by design.
Note that Apple also provides the worst hotfix support in the industry.

<https://hothardware.com/news/apple-admits-only-fully-patches-security-flaws-in-latest-os-releases>
<https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2022/10/apple-clarifies-security-update-policy-only-the-latest-oses-are-fully-patched/>

Having proved Apple has the worst hotfix support in the industry, and
having shown as a result the iPhone is the most exploited phone, and
knowing that only Apple inserts your unique AppleID into every single app
you install on the device, and knowing that Apple alone requires you to
constantly log into their mothership tracking servers....

Can you trust Apple?

Arlen, we all know you are little child.

Everyone on this side of the pond should know that *Proton is a scam*
and stupid users exist all over the world. This case has nothing to do
with what you and others suggest in this case/thread.

> Can you trust Apple?

By definition no one can really trust an American Company as far as
privacy and security is concerned.
