I noticed yesterday that the conky executable had been updated on July 24.
So I modified my secondary conky configuration, which displays the current
stream being played by mpd, to change back to 'panel' from the 'desktop'
setting I had to use to avoid weird off-screen window behavior.

own_window_type = 'panel',

All is good, and I can vertically maximize a window without covering the
conky panel at the top of the screen.

Who cares? Just me, oh well.
