Hey, GNU/Linux "geniuses."

Me got important question.

I have NVidia Turing on my machine and thus it qualifies
for the FOSS NVidia drivers.

There is a catch, however. NVidia FOSS requires the kernel
configuration parameters MMU_NOTIFIER which in turn requires
KVM virtualization.

What the friggin' fuck!

The proprietary NVidia drivers don't require KVM so why
should the FOSS drivers?

But the main question is this:

If I build a new kernel that enables both KVM and MMU_NOTIFIER
do I need do also enable virtual machines (in this case Intel VT)
in the BIOS?

Do any of the FOSS "geniuses" care to answer?

Perhaps I misspelled "genius." It should be "lackey."
