specific things that really were sensitive, intentionally, refused to

indeed did. There is no lie there as the Supreme Court determined when
they dismissed the charges against Trump for this very matter.

It was an illustration of how open Congressional hearings are nothing
more than public theater.

The problem that Cheatle has is that the stuff that the Congressmen
wanted her to speak on (in public) are CUI, SBU & classified data: it
violates her security clearance to say those in a non-secure venue.

Congress could - if it wanted to - hold a closed & Classified session.
They haven't done so, so that's on Congress, not the Agency.

Plus claiming that it has been X days and they expect the investigation
to be fully complete by is extremely clueless & childish: every adult
in the room with prosecutorial experience knows that legal standards
like Chain of Custody must be faithfully followed in order for any
potential future charges to be enforceable...down to and including
trying to remove someone from their job for cause. Otherwise, you end
up losing in the lawsuit.

candidate but I did vote for him. I did not vote for McCain or Romney, the

I had to look up Jackson Lee. She just died last Friday. May she rest in
peace. I think I remember some of her idiocy now that you've brought her up,
but I don't follow Congress very closely. They seem completely unable to get
anything done, except when the "Deep State" wants it done, then they can get
legislation through lightning quick.
