FBReader is the best e-book reader for GNU/Linux of which I know.

MuPDF does a poor job displaying images on some epub files.

But beware. FBReader is no longer open source. It is still
freely distributed by downloading and extracting the AppImage:

https://fbreader.org/linux/packages

Warning: Data collection is switched on by default and there
is no way to prevent the reader from accessing the Internet
except to disable the network.

Fuck these closed source clowns!
