I don't have cable TV. I hate cable news. I don't even like the
broadcast networks' news, PBS/BBC are all I can take. I'm judging
this by the indicators in the economy, Biden's administration has done
fine.

Well that's actually a good thing.
As far as Biden and the economy is concerned, look at the link I posted.
There are many more like it.

It's interesting to look at what people said in an exit poll, yeah,
but it doesn't mean they're *correct*. If they beLIEve Donald is
gonna magically make everything the way they like, they might buy the
Brooklyn Bridge.

Well that's actually an interesting point.
If the topic were say foreign policy I would agree with you
that people might be misinformed by the media or their own
bias.
However regarding the economy, it's cut and dried.
People at the market easily see the price of goods.
People with adjustable mortgages see the difference.
People looking to obtain a mortgage or finance a car see the difference.
etc.
It's a concrete metric that people can use to gauge how well they are doing and
the people are not happy at all.
They don't want to hear some numbers game they want things to go back to the way
they were under Trump.
It's that simple.
Now, can Trump fix it?
I dunno.
Time will tell.

Did you remember, though, that when Biden took over we were in the
middle of a global and deadly pandemic? Given that fact, the outgoing
administration has done remarkably well. The system kept them honest,
McCarthy and old Joe had to bargain a compromise, as it should be,
neither extreme is best. People apparently wanted Trump because they
thought he deserved a second chance - I'm OK with that, to be honest,
because the worst that could happen is that it doesn't work out but we
learn something from it. I don't think it'll burn us down.

They do not. You only see the products and brands you routinely
buy. I rarely buy eggs, so I have no idea what they cost or what
avian flu is doing.
> People with adjustable mortgages see the difference.
Very few people knew what mortgages are doing. I spent many years
paying for mine without looking at others. Now I completely ignore
them.

I own my home and never buy cars.

The federal government provides many concrete metrics. Since they
are contrary to what you want them to be, you reject them.
