Not a bad idea, but that approach would need to be more expensive.

Further the problem of trying to balance the budget by increasing revenue is

Na, we need to impose spending limits on government, and the first couple of
stages for exceeding such limits would be eliminating their pay, benefits,
aids, offices, and such.
