A pedophile who abducted a young girl and sexually abused her over a
27-hour period in Edinburgh, Scotland has been sentenced to 20 years
in prison and eight more of supervised release.

Andrew Miller, 53, was dressed as a woman when he offered the girl
who had just turned 11 a ride in February.

Miller took her back to his house and subjected her to repeated
attacks, which a judge described as "every parent's worst
nightmare,” in his sentencing statement.

Miller, who had been running a butcher's shop, claimed he offered
the girl a lift "because she was freezing", and claimed forcing her
to sleep in the bed with him "was a motherly thing."

“Your intentions were wicked and predatory,” Lord Arthurson, the
judge said, noting that the crime required substantial planning.

The judge called the details of the sexual assault “nauseating in
its level of depravity and criminal deviance.”

The girl had repeatedly asked to be allowed to go home but he told
her that he wouldn’t allow it because he was her “new family.”

She eventually was able to get to a phone and call for help. Nine
police officers arrived to rescue a shaken and crying girl.

Miller pleaded guilty to a 76-count indictment in the heinous case
back in May and was sentenced on Wednesday.

Part of the guilty plea was to possession of child pornography
collection he had for nearly 20 years.

“The suffering of your victim and her family at your hands has been
incalculable and life‑changing,” the judge said. “The trauma further
inflicted by you upon her local community and the wider public is
also immeasurable.”

Miller, who is also known as Amy George and is in the process of
transitioning to female, the BBC reported.
