Right. The US public, IN GENERAL, wants universal health care or at least a
strong public option, the want stronger gun laws such as universal background
checks and limits, they want choice in terms of reproductive rights, they want
illegal immigrants to have a chance (though limit the numbers), they want
higher taxes for the rich and stronger safety nets. But this does not happen.

I see the pattern repeating. Now that the Democrats have repaired the economy
Bush and the Republicans destroyed, the GOP uses emotion to manipulate their way
into power. Before long they will have destroyed the economy again, the voters
will throw them out again and hand the mess to the Dems to clean up. And as
soon as that's done, they'll throw the Dems out again because the Reps will have
made them more afraid of something other than their end of the month checking
balance.

repeated a claim he first made at an event
hosted by the anti-trans school board group
Moms for Liberty: that youth were being
given sex-change operations at school and
sent home as a different gender. This claim
is entirely false — schools do not have the
resources, doctors, or legal authority to
provide medical gender-affirming care, much
