A few years ago I was making the same case as -highhorse is today, and
I've not changed my position. Some immigration is a good thing. But
it must be regulated to a rate which can be comfortably absorbed.

I should have mentioned that the above is a classic example of garbage
argument that -highhorse spews that, apparently, fools some people
(like vallor).

I've made many arguments over the years extolling the benefits of
immigrants in this country. To pretend that I would support deporting
9 out of 10 migrant workers, or stop all immigration, is a ridiculous
straw-man argument.

I don't care if someone else said something stupid. Don't pin it on
me. Presenting some "article" that talks of the benefits of
immigration, within _reason_, is not telling me something that I don't
already know.

Biden Harris opened the borders from day one with their "you are welcome here
in the US" rhetoric and it's been a disaster.

Ask EU how well open borders and open immigration policies are working for
them.
