This is one of the reason I stop using Debian around 2003 for Gentoo and
later one got tired of so much compiling so since 2011 or so I am a Arch
GNU/Linux guy, yes before it got popular, honestly sometimes I think in
going back to gentoo because of all the bad wrap with Arch now a days.
In a tinker so do not like when a distro dictates what I need to install
by default etc. My mother uses Ubuntu and my sister since around 2014 or
so, they super happy with it. What keeps you on the debian side? I am
sure you have your good valid points.(just small talk no hard
preferences on what other people use as long is GNU/Linux ).

Happy Hacking

NO! Do not go back to Gentoo.

We, the Gentoo community, do not accept traitorous scum.

Gentoo users are users for life, or else they can GTFO.

"I am slowly considering moving entirely to FreeBSD." - traitorous scum
and devious fraud Feeb.

Not surprising, since you stated flat-out that you couldn't care less
about the GuhNoo "community".
