Well at least it's a topic Kamala Harris knows something about.
Ask Willie Brown about that one.

'Meet the Democrats using porn ads to convince Trump voters to stay
home'

<https://www.npr.org/2024/11/01/nx-s1-5168877/2024-election-pac-trump-porn-sites " rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.npr.org/2024/11/01/nx-s1-5168877/2024-election-pac-trump-porn-sites>
'https://www.npr.org/2024/11/01/nx-s1-5168877/2024-election-pac-trump-porn-sites

'Earlier this year, Wally Nowinski and his buddy Matt Curry were texting
back and forth about what they — two regular voters with no ties to any
political campaign — could do to defeat Donald Trump in the presidential
election.

"I'm in California, I could drive to Nevada and knock on doors or
something, but I'm not going to reach 5 million people that way,"
Nowinski told NPR. Curry lives in New York.

The two friends work in tech with experience in digital advertising and
startups, and Nowinski was particularly interested in what he calls
"sub-prime" ad markets, aka porn sites.

Former President Donald Trump delivers remarks during a campaign rally
in Atlanta on Oct. 15. With the election in its closing weeks, Trump and
other Republican candidates have been focusing many of their campaign
ads around the issue of transgender rights.
Politics
GOP ads on transgender rights are dominating airwaves in the election's
closing days
Political candidates and their allied PACs don't advertise in these
spaces because they don't want to associate their brands with explicit
content, making the online pornographic market perhaps the last
untouched frontier in political advertising.

According to AdImpact, more than $10 billion will be spent in political
ads in 2024 in all races across television, streaming, radio and digital
platforms.

While advertising in the Philadelphia suburbs, for instance, is quite
expensive, ads on porn sites are inexpensive and have almost no
competition. "These ads are like real cheap and it's like weirdly
relevant to this campaign," Nowinski said.

The relevance they saw was a market they believe can reach one of the
key voter demographics in 2024.

"There’s 3 million non-college white men across the 'blue wall' states,
that's a lot of people, and they're probably breaking for Trump like
65-70%," he said. "You only need to make a very few of them change their
mind to possibly make an impact on the election."

Three images posted by the group Progress 28 on Facebook claiming to be
ads for Kamala Harris, but misrepresenting her current positions.

So Nowinski and Curry did what virtually no regular voters do: They
formed a political action committee and raised a modest $100,000. About
$25,000 has already been spent in just the last few weeks of October,
when inconsistent voters often decide whether to get off the couch or
not. Nowinski says their ads have already notched 5 million views.

Simple ads, carefully targeted
One of the hurdles was finding pornographic sites that would allow
political advertising, which some of the largest distributors of
pornography, like PornHub, do not allow. Then, Nowinski said, they had
to be able to target the ads in the seven swing states, but with a heavy
focus on the "blue wall" states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin,
where larger demographics of white men reside.

The ads are simplistic: a five second static image the viewer must see
before they can hit "skip" to get to the video they’re there to watch.
The image has ominous music and features things like a woman in lingerie
with this message: "Trump’s Project 2025 will ban porn. Enjoy while you
can." The ads also instruct the viewer to "Google Trump porn ban."

Source: FTW PACCredit: FTW PAC
Their goal is also simple: Convince some of these Trump-leaning,
porn-watching white guys to sit out the election.

"While this is certainly a different sort of approach, it's not unusual
and it's smart in some ways, in a lot of ways it's smart to go where
your audience is," said Steve Caplan, a professor at the University of
Southern California, who is teaching a class this semester on political
advertising in the 2024 campaign.

To be clear, Trump has not endorsed a pornography ban, and his campaign
has repeatedly distanced itself from the conservative blueprint Project
2025, although it was crafted by Trump allies and it does call for all
pornography to be outlawed.

Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump speaks
at a campaign rally at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 27 in New York
City.
Politics
Americans bet $100 million on Trump v. Harris, but at what cost?
"I think it's a fascinating example of how far campaign advertising,
targeting and hyper targeting has evolved," said Caplan.

With $75,000 in the bank to spend by Election Day, Nowinski estimates
their swing state ad campaign could hit 20 million views. He also says
they'll probably keep the PAC alive after this election, but he's not
sure where exactly to take it from here.

"I'll probably keep the PAC alive because there's other opportunities
that are like niche efficiency plays, or kind of unexpected angles that
I'd like to explore more potentially in future elections," he said'

Donald Trump has become the first former US president to be criminally
convicted.

A New York jury found him guilty of falsifying business records in order to
commit election fraud.

Trump was at the centre of a "hush money" scheme to buy the silence of a
porn star in the days before the 2016 election.

Here are seven factors that helped convict the man who - in six months -
could be president again.

Follow live:
Reaction as Trump found guilty on all counts

1. The secret recording

"So, what do we got to pay for this? 150?" Donald Trump is heard to say in
a conversation with his lawyer Michael Cohen, which he did not know was
being recorded.

He was referring to the $150,000 (117,000) hush money paid to Playboy
model Karen McDougal, who claimed she had a 10-month affair with Trump -
which he denied.

The payment, and Trump's discussion of it, helped establish the hush money
scheme and Trump's involvement.

2. The president and the porn star

Stormy Daniels' detailed evidence - at times excruciating - demonstrated to
the jury why Donald Trump would have wanted to silence her story.

They met at a 2006 celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and had
a photo taken together. He invited her to his hotel suite where they had
sex, although Trump denies it.

Stormy Daniels (pictured in 2018) said she had sex with Trump in Nevada.

She spanked him "on the butt" with a rolled-up magazine and they had sex
after she came out of the bathroom to find him stripped to his boxer shorts
and a T-shirt.

When they parted, he said to her: "It was great. Let's get together again,
honey bunch."

3. David Pecker

The former publisher of the National Enquirer magazine spoke of the "catch
and kill" scheme he operated to buy negative stories about Donald Trump and
bury them.
David Pecker said he would stop negative stories about Trump being
published. Pic: Reuters
Image: David Pecker said he would stop negative stories about Trump. Pic:
Reuters

He told Trump in a 2015 meeting that he would be his "eyes and ears" and he
put his money where his mouth was, buying McDougal's silence for $150,000.

Mr Pecker's testimony spoke to Trump's direct knowledge of, and involvement
in, a hush money scheme.

4. 'Just Do It' and 'Push it out past the election'

Michael Cohen testified that Donald Trump told him to "just do it" when it
came to paying Stormy Daniels' hush money.

In late October 2016, she had grown frustrated by a delay in the payment
and threatened to take her story to a newspaper.

Cohen said that Trump told him: "There's no reason to keep this thing out
there. Just do it." It reinforced evidence of Trump's direction of the hush
money scheme.

He said Trump told him of the Stormy Daniels story. "Push it out past the
election, because if I win, it has no relevance and if I lose I don't
really care."

It was a killer line that demonstrated the intent to commit election fraud
and, so, elevated the crime to a felony.

Trump: 'This is a rigged trial'

5. The 'smoking gun' bank statement

Handwritten notes from Allen Weisselberg, Trump's chief financial officer,
show the sums adding up Michael Cohen's reimbursement.

It was the $130,000 hush money plus add-ons, all multiplied by two to cover
tax liability as Cohen was in the 50% tax bracket.

It showed $420,000 (328,000) to be paid in multiple cheques of $35,000
each.

The figures are written on Cohen's First Republic bank statement, the very
one that showed his $130,000 wire transfer to Stormy Daniels' attorney.

Cohen testified that he saw Mr Weisselberg write on the document and that
Trump approved the reimbursement plan.

6. The 'body man' photo

The defence pounced on a phone call on 24 October 2016, in which Michael
Cohen said he had discussed the Stormy Daniels hush money with Donald
Trump.

They pointed out the call was to the phone of Trump's aide, Keith Schiller,
after Cohen had been texting him about harassment phone calls and that his
claim to have spoken to Trump in a 96-second phone call was "a lie".

However, the prosecution found a photograph of Schiller and Trump together,

It undermined what the defence clearly saw as a 'gotcha' moment in their
bid to discredit Cohen.

7. The trusted aide

Hope Hicks was campaign press secretary to Donald Trump in 2016.

She testified that he told her Michael Cohen had paid off Stormy Daniels to
"protect him [Trump] from a false allegation" out of the "kindness of his
own heart".

Ms Hicks told the court she thought that would have been out of character
for Cohen.

"I didn't know Michael to be an especially charitable person or selfless
person," she said.

From a trusted aide, her cutting assessment of Cohen challenged the word of
her former boss and weakened Trump's defence.

There's no law against paying "hush money" to someone.

Only a fscking jackass wouldn't realise that no one but an enemy of

How do you think that relevant to his 34 felony counts of falsifying business
records?

What makes you think only liberals care about accountability for illegal
