The best fish I ever ate was albacore my uncle caught and my grandmother
roasted in the oven. Very little seasoning, if any. Albacore is great
because it doesn't taste like fish.

Second best fish I ever ate was rainbow trout we caught in a clear, cold
stream near Neihart, Montana. Just fried on a frying pan on a wood stove. I
don't think there was any seasoning on those fish at all.

I was fairly young both times 12 or so at Niehart, MT and 17 or so in
California. So that's been over 50 years ago.

I know people who like Talapia a lot. It's supposed to healthy for you, I
think. I don't know if I've ever eaten it, but I see it in the grocery
stores. Probably should try it some time.

At least in the inner cities. In Texas I worked with a lot of middle class
blacks who just wanted to get along like the rest of us and raise their
families. They're also being hurt by the illegal alien invasion.

Six days for the Rothschilds to decide who they want in office. They're
keeping the polls close so they can go either way. The momentum is clearly
on Trump's side, but I saw Obama talking to an agitated Biden (at a funeral)
saying something like, "don't worry about it, we'll take care of it."

If the vote is fair at all, it's going to be a huge win for Trump. But it's
really not up to the voters. It's up to those who control the "counting" of
the votes.

They're trying to do a Ukrainian "maidan" in Georgia (the country) now. I
don't think it's going to work, but even though the international observers
said the vote was honest, it's "in dispute" because the Rothschild cabal
didn't get their way. Funny that they don't use the term "election deniers"
for those (like the Democrats here) who don't accept the outcome of the vote
in other countries.

Carp, like suckers, whitefish, pickerel, and other species, have a lot of
y-shaped intramuscular bones that don't lend themselves to filleting.

That's about pickerel, but the same apploes to carp. Before an old power
dam was removed we had an annual pickerel derby. The problem was the dam
acted as a catchment for all the heavy metals from Butte so very few
people woild eat them. Prior to removing the dam they dumped a few tons of
rotenone in and killed everything. They definitely didn't want pickerel
downstream; the pike are bad enough. Even now the fishing access sites
warn you not to eat what you catch too frequently and not to eat the pike
at all.

When I lived in New Hampshire there was a restaurant on the waterfront in
Portsmouth. When the sport fishermen snagged a tuna they would buy the
fish after the requisite photo-op. We knew one of the waitresses and she
would alert us to fresh tuna on the menu.

It's sort of tasteless like catfish but not bad. I don't care for trout
and that includes coho salmon which is a big trout in my opinion. I do

Some brands say olive oil on the label but generally it's way down the
list after soybean oil. I usually get the avocado mayo from CostCo
although I will admit to a nostalgic redneck trash taste for Miracle Whip
every now and then.

I've worked with black people and even hired a couple in my career that
were all middle class but I haven't had a lot of day-to-day exposure
because of where I've lived most of my life. You don't meet the nicest
people trucking but from that experience Hispanics have a lot better work
ethic.

I was in LA during the King riots and a Hispanic guy unloading the truck
had an opinion of blacks that David Duke would approve of.

I'm getting the feeling that if they indeed proceed to steal the vote
again this time around, it'll be so obvious that there won't be a need
for lawsuits and investigations. Progressive stupids will no longer be
able to claim that it was fair because they will have been exposed and
they will have to admit that they cheated. I imagine that they will do
so with glee. Any self-respecting progressive will move over to the
other side and hopefully, the pure evil in society will be eliminated
once and for all. One can only hope.

If it's anything like the albacore tuna my uncle caught off the shore of
California (maybe Mexico?) it's well worth it.

I've eaten trout since then and it wasn't impressive. Maybe I was just
hungry when I was 12, or maybe I had low expectations and it surprised me
that it tasted good at all.

I caught some brown trout in the mountains north of Weiser, Idaho. It was
mushy and tasteless. I was told that was because the streams there were
fairly warm and warm water trout aren't good eating. Those were the last
fish I caught. (I don't like to catch them if I'm not going to eat them —
and I definitely wasn't going to eat brown trout again.)

I'm kind of mixed on salmon. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't.
Maybe the times I don't it's because it's coho salmon. (Fish is not a big
part of my diet, so I don't really keep up on these things.) I remember when
I was kid in Great Falls we used to sometimes buy fresh smelt at Rosaur's
Market. I thought they were pretty good. I don't think I've those for a long
time.

I got a Montana license one year a long time ago. I grew up fishing lakes
and ponds and don't have any running water skills. I don't think I caught
anything. I'd heard there were bullheads in Ninepipes reservoir but when I
found that was an additional charge for a reservation permit I passed.

I've caught one trout in my life and I shot it. I was out squirrel hunting
with a .22. No squirrels but on the way back to the car I crossed a bridge
over a little creek and saw the trout lazing around under the bridge.
Straight down shot, no parallax.

We used to have smelt regularly, fry them up whole. The last time I saw
frozen smelt in a market they were market as bait and I didn't have a good
feeling.

Shad is another one I liked. When they were running you could buy a roe
shad, have the fish on Friday night and the roe with eggs Saturday
morning. Same genus, different species but what is called serviceberry in
Montana was called shadbush because when it bloomed the shad were running.
