Microsoft used to be better, though. Nowadays it has to release patches to
fix bugs caused by previous patches, or to patch things up because those
previous patches didn’t quite fix the problems they were supposed to fix.

That and the increasing incidence of bugs that cause loss of user data.

Here's a clue, for you. In 2010, I purchased a MacBook, with a two-
core CPU, 2 GB RAM, and the novelty of OS X AKA macOS wore off before
long, and I tried using Boot Camp, which sucked because to switch
between them required fully shutting down one, to boot the other, so I
put Win7 on it alone. I then ended up wanting it out of my house, and
gave it to a friend who favored laptops. She loved it. But a few
months later, it croaked, less than a year old. Windows was a beast
for that Apple hardware, even though it was entirely compatible as far
as using it. It's not about whether it'd boot and operate, it's about
the long-term stability of the *hardware*. That's why M$ is implying
that you're on your own, if you put Win11 ARM on a newer Mac.

When? Before Windows 3.1? If yes, you are speaking about very old
history. Since Windows 95, I've always seen Windows beta versions sold
being aware it wasn't unfinished. And then I always seen advices telling
to wait for the first patch before installing anything. With Windows 7,
I've even seen Microsoft telling the companies to not install it and to
wait for the next version.

Windows 2000 and XP were stable when released, although subsequent
updates fixed severe security bugs. Vista was Vista, but 7 was rock
solid upon release, I dunno why you'd think otherwise. 8 and 10 were
fine when released, although 10 1809 was a beta, hence why I switched
to Linux in 2019 and came back around here, later 10 and 11 were fine,
but now we hear 24H2 is buggy upon release, yet again showing how M$
is indifferent to their users at times.

And if you follow the gaming world, there are multiple big battles
against woke games and game developers going on right now.

A pathetically woke online game called Concord came out 2 months ago,
and so few people played it that within a month or so Sony took it
offline and refunded everyone. Game journalists are claiming crazy
numbers like "Concord lost $400,000,000!", which is silly. But it did
lose big money - they claimed it was in development for 8 years. The
game makers made it a point to have no White male characters, but
several black female characters, including a 300lb one wearing butch
clothes.

Disney Junior has a Little Mermaid cartoon out which they play
commercials for all the time. Not one of the underwater characters is
White. This is pure racism. This is partly why I will never subscribe to
that channel even if my boy begs.

I like the original fried chicken sandwich, but McD's clone is easier
to access, and often discounted when ordering with one's phone.

Yeah, I like a McDonald's spicy McChicken.

First place I'm going to when I hit my goal of 200lbs is El Torero, then
for dessert a Dairy Queen peanut buster parfait. Soft serve, hot fudge
and peanuts. DQ now charges $7 for it, so I've only had 2 in the last 5
years. I don't think it's possible to make one as good as theirs.

It's the government. Apparently, they get generous kickbacks if they go
along with what the state believes. It's the same here in Canada.

They _want_ White women to date and start families with black men. In
fact, they want every other ethnicity out there to do the same since it
is a guarantee that IQ levels will drop and that those kids will be
uncontrollable since the fathers will inevitably leave as they always do
when faced with responsibility. White men must be avoided at all costs
since they want a nuclear family and to actually be present for their

Very few. sometimes you'll see a white couple with a black child in tow.
Somali orphan? Kid by previous marriage? Who knows.

Blacks seem to be over represented in ads or shows. It's a wonder Asians
aren't pissed. I mean Usha Vance isn't commented on and Harris goes for
the 1/4 black ancestry rather than the 1/2 Indian.

Yeah, that whole 'white non-Hispanic' category that shows up on a lot of
questionnaires is a little strange if not outright racist.

I don't even know what the jokes was but yesterday AOC was ranting on X
about the heinous insult to Puerto Ricans. Today Puerto Rico's shadow

I haven't had one in decades but that was my favorite. I don't deep fry
foods but made an exception and had the top part of a double boiler filled
with oil to create my own.

Where I grew up was heavily Catholic. On Fridays all the restaurants had
some sort of fish specials. Ted's Fish Fry claim to fame was its fish
dries, strange to say.

I don't know what species they use now but back then i think it was
haddock or halibut to get the long strips. The sauce was 'chili sauce'
which was sort of a spicy sweet tomato relish. We didn't know jack about
Mexican cuisine.

There were a couple of copycats but Ted's was the real thing. Wish I had
one now. There wasn't any ocean front property in Troy but it was only
about 150 miles to the ocean so there was plenty of fresh seafood.
