So much for the "science." This crap was actually published in the so-called
"Scientific" American magazine.

The inequity between male and female athletes is a result not of inherent
biological differences between the sexes but of biases in how they are
treated in sports. As an example, some endurance-running events allow the
use of professional runners called pacesetters to help competitors
perform their best. men are not permitted to act as pacesetters in many
women's events because of the belief that they will make women
"artificially faster," as though women were not actually doing the
running themselves.

It has nothing to do with size, muscle mass, size of the lungs, weight
distribution, etc. — the differences between men and women athletes'
performances is all due to "bias."

When "scientists" (so-called) get this stupid, real science doesn't exist.
It's just a cult spreading their fairy-tale propaganda.

Kind of like the Covid mRNA shot was "safe and effective." Until they
admitted it wasn't. And masks and six foot distancing was "necessary" until
the admitted they just spitballed it.

You'll notice the U.N. in their "one world control document" (recently
posted here) kept referring to "science-based" evidence. This is the kind
of "science" they were referring to, i.e., cult stupidity and propaganda,
like the asinine belief that "men can have babies."

And people like Hugh Huntzinger wondered why I didn't put too much faith
into the sources they provided. Apparently, even respected publications
with a history of basing their opinions strictly on facts can be
persuaded to become willful morons.

That's sort of a man bites dog story. At least on their first outing the
transgenders playing with the real boys didn't do very well. I would guess
a used-to-be-men team playing against a women's team would do better.

And you felt the need to post about this in Linux advocacy because
it burns in your brain as a never-ending obsession?

When you go to Thanksgiving dinner, are you going to stand up and
announce to everybody what you think of the Scientific
American's article?

Not doing "very well," is a nice way to put it. Lost 19-0. So these women
(probably on steroids) couldn't do well against men — which totally
disproves the bullshit in the "Scientific" American about "bias" being the
deciding factor instead of physical attributes.

From the linked article...

Fenix's first game of the season on Sept. 21 ended with a 19-0 defeat.
But for its fans and players, trans men having the right to play their
favourite sport on equal terms is far more important than the score.

Non "trans" women haven't done very well against boy's teams. (Not men,
boys.)

https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/news/a-dallas-fc-under-15-boys-squad-beat-the-u-s-womens-national-team-in-a-scrimmage/

In preparation for two upcoming friendlies against Russia, the U.S.
women’s national team played the FC Dallas U-15 boys academy team on
Sunday and fell 5-2, according to FC Dallas’ official website.

"U-15" means under 15 years old. Playing one of the best women's teams in
the world at the time.

Chris Everett, the best women's tennis player at the time, was asked how
well she did against her brother (who, at the time, was ranked 670 something
in the men's rankings). She said she never beat him.

I guess according to the so-called "scientists" that would be due to "bias"
as well.

Did you install tcl? I see a snap namespace on Ubuntu and nmve and region

Tcl must have been installed as dependency. I don't directly use it.

Odd. Both the Fedora and Ubuntu machines had tclsh. I saved a script from

https://wiki.tcl-lang.org/page/Show+me+an+example

as h.tcl and 'tclsh h.tcl' birngs up a little window. Blast from the very
distant past.

#! /bin/env tclsh
package require Tk
# Create the main message window
message .m -text {Hello Tcl!} -background white
pack .m -expand true -fill both -ipadx 100 -ipady 40

# Create the main menu bar with a Help-About entry
menu .menubar
menu .menubar.help -tearoff 0
..menubar add cascade -label Help -menu .menubar.help -underline 0
..menubar.help add command -label {About Hello ...} \
-accelerator F1 -underline 0 -command showAbout

# Define a procedure - an action for Help-About
proc showAbout {} {
tk_messageBox -message "Tcl/Tk\nHello Windows\nVersion 1.0" \
-title {About Hello}
}

# Configure the main window
wm title . {Hello Foundation Application}
.. configure -menu .menubar -width 200 -height 150
bind . {<Key F1>} {showAbout}

And Chris's lack of depth has gotten even shallower over time.

I guess he approves of Airhead Hyena Harris completely dodging press
confences so she can take part in an interview on an Airhead YouTube Blog
show to talk about her sex life. (Something called "Call Her Daddy", a
"broadcast" that most of the world never heard of until now.) Ironically,
the airhead interviewer asked Kamala why she isn't doing real press
conferences and apparently Hyena Harris "word saladed" her way through it
(as usual).

If anyone is stupid enough to believe that women can't compete with men in
sports because of bias, instead of the differences in physical attributes,
then they absolute Woke morons. Definite NOT scientists — just Woke Cultists
pushing their insane agenda (which is what science has basically become).
