He brought a chipmunk in the house a while back and it got loose and
hid. We left nuts and fruits and water out for it.

It's luck ended after about a week. Cat caught it and this time ate its
head and neck clean off.

He brought it in my office and unbeknownst to me laid down and started
crunching on the skull. I actually heard the noise thru my headphones.

I'm currently feeding 2 'community' cats (plus a pair of raccoons and
skunks, not by design). One is friendly enough to jump in my lap if I'm
reading outside but neither shows the slightest bit of interest in living
indoors. The friendly one did take a three minute tour one day, which
surprised me. It works out better that way.
