The dillo browser is back, and it's mighty good:

Look ma, there ain't no javascript -- and that's a FEATURE.
With dillo web pages load ultra fast providing that wonderful
surfing experience that used to be before being choked to death
by floods of useless javascript.
To be sure, not all pages will render with dillo, but that's
another feature. If if doesn't show in dillo then it's not
worth the visit.
Now I have another nifty alternative.

Whoever does not partake of these wonderful alternatives is
a blithering, sputtering idiot.

This is the page for the element Lead.
An example he uses is the "lead hand:"

He indicates that the lead hand is used to shield someone
from an X-Ray machine. This is ridiculous.
I contacted him and informed him that the "lead hand"
was used to immobilize a patient's hand during hand
surgery. He said that he would look into it but he
has yet never altered his original claim.
Whatever, dillo may not "play" the videos but it does
offer to download, which is more than adequate.

Both are pretty good. That being said, the colors used for the status
bar are too low contrast on my terminal, so I prefer dillo.

Lynx is a text mode browser whereas "graphical links" is a graphical
browser in the same league as firefox, etc. (although "links" has
a text mode as well).
